LABORATORY PROJECTS Strain Engineering in Graphene Through Friction Control September 2014-Present • Established different processes for both macroscopic and microscopic hydrophobic substrate patterning • Processes: substrate preparation, piranha cleaning, UV degradation, and mechanical exfoliation • Goal: measure strain-induced pseudomagnetic fields in graphene

Seven Segment Display April-May 2015 • Utilized Verilog to program a Xilinx FPGA board • Programmed counters, clock dividers, debouncers, a MUX, and a hex-to-7-segment decoder • Performed simulations and analyzed waveforms of every circuit element to ensure correct functionality

BJT and MOSFET Amplifier Circuits April-May 2015 • Constructed common-emitter and common-collector BJT amplifiers • Incorporated common-source and common-drain MOSFET amplifiers • Identified the overall gain in cascaded amplifier circuits through small-signal analysis
