Nov. 1st 2012 Prepared for: Prince William Studio Artists Prepared by: Wayne Rockwell Fowler Dear Prince William Studio Artists, I propose an artist's residency to transform the common room space. I propose to reside at the studio for the duration of the project (approximately 1 month) and in this time frame use the common room / bathroom / kitchen area as a canvas to rejuvenate the space and revitalize it's aesthetic energy. All changes welcome input from the studio artists and will evolve and develop organically. I have been immersed in eco art construction for 5 years and will show some documented work in this proposal. The philosophy behind ancient architecture and the reason why something existed was not depended on one factor. Ancient building practices incorporated many important and divine factors into it's design process. The alignment, aesthetics, physical and biological make up, size, space and location of the medium of a particular element placed where is was placed connected the relative colossal, celestial and the quantum level all in one. It's purpose was not only to create a space but to resonate and vibrate in tune with the Earth it was grounded to and the Universe it existed in.

In my practice, it is my intention to create spaces with all the above factors in mind, for the modern world.
