General Info RENI-DS S.A. (Renewable Energy Innovations – Development and Services) has been established in 2007 and is dealing in the detailed planning analysis and design, installation, monitoring and after sales services of Photovoltaic (PV) Systems. RENI-DS is also a supplier of electromechanical equipment for Photovoltaic Systems, as well as provides Consulting Services for PV Projects. partners. History

At the first stage of its operation, the company was mainly specialized in design of middle and large Photovoltaic parks as well as in all permit procedures in close cooperation with the relative organisations, thus being responsible for all kind of necessary designs and analyses (Energy, Environmental, Electromechanical, Geotechnical, etc). A great percentage of the above projects have been realized by RENI-DS, by undertaking either the detailed design or the total ‘turn-key’ construction. Today, having acquired great experience in PV sector projects through numerous designs, installations or certifications (6MW is our largest PV park connected to the grid), already completed, combined with the high quality personnel as well as the close cooperation with financial and public organisations, RENI-DS provides Consulting Services of high professional level. Employees’ Structure RENI-DS is comprised of specialised engineers on theoretical as well as on practical level. The design analysis has been combined perfectly with experienced supervision and contractor procedures.

The company’s employees are consisted of civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers and have all the necessary tools and instruments to complete every project successfully. Apart from the current personnel of the company, there are also external collaborators, all specialised in specific domains required for the right completion of projects. Activities of RENI-DS

1. Constructional Activity Total PV installed power, either under construction or already connected to the grid, exceeds 14MWp including a large range of ‘Turn Key’ PV systems, from small residential PV systems to large PV projects connected to the grid. In addition, the company has constructed numerous PV residential systems up to 10KWp each, of a total PV power over 500kWp. It’s worth mentioning that the main large Solar Parks are certified by the Austrian Organization of Inspection, TÜV AUSTRIA, member of TÜV-CERT constitution of Certification.

2. Design Activity

The design activities of RENI-DS implement a large number of PV projects with a total power over 30MWp. 3. Project Design – Consulting Services RENI-DS covers every stage of PV projects with reliability and success. The following services are provided: Detailed energy analysis of PV systems with

scientific calculations of energy yields, mainly based on well-recognised and specialised software as well as on suppliers’ data-sheets and certifications that have been selected

Environmental analysis based on the study area that the PV system is due to be installed, local conditions and regulations, with upper aim the approval of environmental terms

Detailed electrical analysis on both AC and DC sides, as well as on Medium Voltage Substations, when they exist

Design of fire detection and fire extinguishment Design of sorting the number of PV modules in

optimum PV strings by taking into account Inverters’ MPP and many other factors

Calculation of Performance Ratio (PR) Detailed analysis for lightning protection, wire

mesh and design of grid protection from overvoltage

Water network for PV modules wash Monitoring Systems in order to control the

overall operation of PV installation Security System Geotechnical detailed analysis in order to select

the optimum mounting system for PV Systems Detailed project management with time
