Thank you for feeding hungry children in our community!

We are pleased to welcome as our guest, the Rev. John Reiter,

the Executive Director at Cedarkirk camp and conference center in Lithia.

Our Outreach Offering and DOES It programs

for June/July/August will go to The Food Bank of Manatee. The Food Bank is the largest hunger prevention agency in our county, providing food to more than 100 local food pantries and social service agencies as well as distributing food and supplies for emergency situations. Summer is the most challenging time of the year for The Food Bank of Manatee, and you can help in two ways:

Food Drive – donate non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables and fruits, peanut butter, rice, boxed pasta, canned soups and meats, juice boxes, oatmeal, breakfast bars, dried beans, cereals, fruit snacks and more. Yellow collection barrels will be in the Narthex through August.

Outreach Offering – give a cash donation. Pooling our resources over a three-month period will really help us make an impact. Use the envelopes in the pews or memo your check “Food Bank.”
