It gives me great pleasure to know that Indian Society for VLSI Education & IETE

Ranchi centre is organizing a two days International Conference on Nanoelectronics Circuits &

Communication Systems (NCCS-2017) on 11-12th Nov 2017.

Nanoelectronics technology has dramatically improved the capabilities of computers and

communication systems providing exceptionally powerful and inexpensive tools to manipulate

electronics signals. It has become the cornerstone of information technologies and pollution

control in offices, factories and home. Therefore each of these areas is critically dependent on

Nanoelectronics technology.

The dramatic growth of technology has prompted observers to describe it as a

Nanoelectronics revolution. Continuing to shrink the dimensions of electronics devices is

important in order to further increase processor speed, reduce device switching energy and

reduce manufacturing cost etc. Approaches based on Nano scale science, engineering and

technology are expected to bring about a drastic change in the very nature of computing and

communications.

Abstract— Now-a-days, medical applications need lots of storage for storing and providingaccess to the medical information seekers. Moreover in medical applications, informationgrows tremendously and hence they must be stored using a suitable storage structure so that itis possible to retrieve them faster from the text corpus in which the medical information isstored. The existing methods for storage and retrieval do not focus on classified organization. However, classified data storage will facilitate fast retrieval. Therefore, a new Latent DirichletAllocation (LDA) based topic modelling approach is proposed in this paper which uses temporalrules for effective manipulation of stored data. Therefore, a temporal rule based classificationalgorithm is proposed in this work by combining Naïve Bayes Classifier with LDA and temporalrules to store the data more efficiently and it helps to retrieve the documents faster. From theexperiments conducted in this work by storing and retrieving medical data in a corpus, it isproved that the proposed model is more efficient with respect to classification accuracy leadingto organized storage and fast retrieval.

Abstract— Dementia is a broad category of brain related diseases that continues for a long term andseverely affects thinking and daily functioning of a human being. Among different types of dementia thefatal type of brain problems are Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Parkinson’s disease (PD). More than 70% ofcases reported as dementia is in the Alzheimer’s category. In AD, the patient’s brain gets severelydamaged, especially the outer part of the brain like cerebral cortex, hippocampus, ventricles etc. The ADpatients have enlarged ventricles, shrinkage in hippocampus and cortex. PD is also a common dementiaafter AD. In PD, the patient's mid brain gets damaged, i.e. substantia nigra. The proposed work presentsan efficient automation for the detection of the AD and PD with Machine Learning Techniques (MLT). Todetect the presence of PD and AD, two different types of brain image databases have to be selected:Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) databaseimages, both of them containing data for AD, PD patients in comparison with the healthy brain images. From the input image different features have to be extracted like statistical moments, geometricalmoments, texture features etc. Then Region of Interest (ROI) has to be selected to differentiate diseaseaffected areas. The results have to be generated automatically by comparing input image with the trainedsamples in the database. The proposed system concentrates on applying the MLT for segregating the outerpart of brain with central part of brain for diagnosing the AD and PD in comparison with the healthy braindata.

Abstract— In recent years vehicular communication industries focus on the live informationtransfer with high speed mobility of vehicles. Though vehicles normally equipped with a singlecommunication system, but they may find different networks for communication during travel. In order to access, seamless connectivity vehicles needed to be connected different networksand vertical handover come into the picture. Even future generation wireless communicationsystems require support for multimode communication of Heterogeneous Networks (HetNet). This paper introduces a novel Road Side Unit (RSU) selection scheme for vehicularcommunication. The objective is to provide travelers with seamless connectivity and maximizethe network utilization. This scheme balances both-side interests of RSUs and On Board Unit(OBU) via a suitably Software Defined Network control. The SDN evaluates networkperformance, based on user preferences and decides the most appropriate RSU for OBUs. Thisscheme maximizes the HetNet utilization and minimizing handover by properly balancing theload amongst the RSUs in the HetNet. The scheme enhances the performance by rejectsunnecessary requests. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed RSU selectionscheme enhances the performance in terms of Handover Served Ratio(HSR), OBU Served Ratio(OSR) and Total throughput.

Abstract— In the recent past, solar panel [5] has been under use to convert solar energy intoelectrical energy. The solar systems can be connected to electrical grids and also be used as astationary system. The maximum solar power received by the earth is around 84 TW, of this 12TW of power is consumed every day by the world. We are proposing a technique [2,3,15] thatby using Arduino extract maximum energy from the solar panel[23]. If the solar panels areplaced perpendicular to the sun maximum amount of solar energy can be extracted [6,7]. So, itis important to track the Sun's location and position of the solar panel.

In the case of fixed solar panels, energy conversion at morning and evening is less, but it ismore at noon [26]. As at noon the solar panel is placed perpendicular to the sun. The proposedwork is to design a system to track the sun's position [10]. Photo resistors will be used assensors in this system. The system consists of Light Dependent Resistors, Arduino Uno, RCServo motors, and a solar panel. The proposed method will give an output up to 20% moreenergy than solar panels without entering tracking systems.

Abstract— A fast squaring technique for the operands nearer to a particular radix is reportedin this paper. The technique offers significantly less computational complexity which reducesthe processing time to a large extent. Considering the applicability of the technique for aparticular set of numbers which are in the vicinity of the corresponding radix; it is shown thatthe technique is equally acceptable for very large radix number. The proposed approach hasbeen verified using Xilinx ISE Vertex-7 FPGA device. Simulated findings showed that withsignificant increment in radix value (99.87%), the change of propagation delay is extremelysmall (2.33%), and corresponding increase in power dissipation is within tolerable range(29.84%). The results show the improvement in speed and computational complexity.

Abstract—Critical role is played by multipliers in modern digital signal processing systems. Theoverall system is affected by multipliers in terms of speed and computational complexity. In thispaper, a han-carlson adder (HCA) based high-speed Vedic multiplier is proposed. The proposedVedic multiplier uses Urdhva-Tiryakbhyam sutra of Vedic multiplication. Han-carlson adder isone of the parallel-prefix adders which provides high-speed to the proposed multiplierarchitecture. Proposed architecture of 64x64 bit Vedic multiplier is implemented using Xilinx ISE14.2 navigator in VHDL. The implementation results of proposed architecture are comparedwith conventional Vedic multipliers with different adders which show that the conventionalmultipliers is having larger time delay as compared to proposed multiplier. Furthermore, complex multiplication architectures, using three and four 32x32 bit proposed Vedic multipliersare also implemented. The results of these complex multiplication architectures are alsocompared with conventional Booth multiplier and Array multiplier based architectures whichshow that the complex multiplication using proposed architecture provides improved delay, low hardware (LUTs) and low complexity.

Abstract— In this paper a scheme for detection and segmentation of brain tumor from T1-weighted and fluid attenuated inversion recovery(FLAIR)brain images is presented. To preventthe effect of noise and enhance texture of the brain image fractional sobel filter is used.Fractional order (α) of fractional sobel filter provides additional flexibility in improving thesegmentation results. Detection of asymmetry between hemispheres is achieved usingBhattacharya coefficients and mutual information. In order to detect the hemispherecontaining tumor, histogram asymmetry method is applied. To segmentation the tumor regionfrom the tumor hemisphere the statistical features of a defined window are calculated andclassified using support vector machine (SVM).Simulations are performed on the images, takenfrom the BRATS-2013 datasetand performance parameters such asaccuracy, sensitivity andspecificity for different values of αare computed. Thesimulation results show that theperformance of proposed scheme is comparable to the nearest schemes compared.

Abstract— Problems relating to the achievement of protection for inter turn insulation in multiturn coils in PWM based induction motors have currently aroused the interest of systemdesigners and are being studied in great detail. However such methods are impracticable to becarried out at every installation. A system designer should have prior knowledge of thetransient over voltages which are likely to occur in a proposed installation. For thisdetermination of transient over voltage is essential. Present paper deals with the investigationof transient over voltages in 5HP synchronous motor caused by PWMbased inverteras well asreduction of transient over voltages atmotor terminalby connecting appropriate RCsuppressors. The simulation results show the effect of placing RC suppressor in the system toreduce the over voltages at motor end. For this aSimulink model is developed and implementedin MATLAB.

Abstract— Epileptic seizure occurs due to neuronal disorder that results abnormal pattern ofbrain signal. Electroencephalogram (EEG) signal represents a modest measure of electric flow ina human brain. An EEG is one of the main diagnostic tests for epilepsy .Due to presence ofseizures, normal pattern of brain waves disappear and different other brain waves can bevisualized during recording of EEG. Approximately 1% of the total population in the world isaffected by this disease. This paper is based on a systematic approach for epilepsy detection ofhuman brain by extraction of features and classification of EEG signal. Feature extraction iscompleted by discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and multi-layer perceptron neural network(MLPNN) with deep learning is used for classification. Experimental study of the proposed workis done through Python platform with an encouraging performance.

Abstract— In this paper, we have developed a robust classifier by considering the bestattributes of biogeography based optimization (BBO) and artificial neural network (ANN) forclassification of fingerprints into five classes. This work involves two phases. In phase one, weextract features by using Gabor filter bank. In the second phase, we optimize the parameters ofANN by using BBO to mitigate the problem of local optima. We have conducted experimentalstudy on a few benchmark functions for verifying the proposed model accuracy. The outcomesof experiment claim that the accuracy of our model is significantly better than othercompetitive models.

Abstract— The increase in energy demand and reduction of greenhouse gas emission is pushingresearch interest towards distributed generation systems. Distributed Generation Systems arerenewable, non renewable energy sources and also energy storage devices. The single–stagethree phase boost inverter can provide higher value of sinusoidal ac output voltages from lowvoltage DC sources without an intermediate dc-dc boost chopper. This unique property isabsent in classical voltage source buck inverter which produces an instantaneous AC outputvoltage, which is always less than input DC voltage. Also this topology is a suitable choice inmany applications such as ac drives, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and distributedpower generation scheme (grid integration of renewable sources). Thus it has an advantage ofboosting and inversion process in a single conversion stage, negligible shoot through problem, reduced components, size & volume, low losses, and higher efficiency, in comparison to doublestage conversion, which consists of a dc to dc boost converter and a conventional three phasebuck voltage source inverter in between the low voltage dc sources and ac output. The threephase dc to ac boost inverter can also be applied for storage devices such as batteries, fuel cellsand super capacitors with the grid. Working principle, operations, modelling, simulation ofthree phase single stage dc-ac boost inverter with battery as input are performed undersimulink platform of the MATLAB and different waveforms are plotted. These simulationsexplain the feasibility of the proposed single stage three phase boost inverter.

Abstract— A grid is an infrastructure to meet the ongoing demands of science and engineering[1]. In the midst of the 1980s and the 1990s, researchers observed that parallel computing anddistributed computing was not only sufficient for solving the grand challenges of engineeringproblems. They needed some mechanism which could utilize the power of distributed as well asparallel computing. Grid computing [2], [3] was the solution to their problem. But working in agrid environment is not really easy since the grid users are increasing and services are becomingcommercial, so it is desirable to free the users from the load of job handling. The grid scheduleror resource broker performs the task of job handling such as resource management andfulfilling user requirements. In this paper, an anatomy of grid schedulers has been discussedwhich discusses intrinsic properties of different grid schedulers.

Abstract— This paper reflects the enhanced Geographical energy aware routing in wirelesssensor network where separation of nodes is totally done on the basis of their position which isfurther obtained by Global Positioning System. Sink node or Base Station is fixed far away fromthe sensed area and entry node is fixed at the central point of sensed area. A threshold value ofdistance has been defined. If the obtained distance of nodes from gateway node and sink nodeis relatively smaller than the threshold value of distance then in that case transmission of datatakes place directly. If calculated distance is more than that of threshold value then isolate thenodes into the identical areas. Now for each area a cluster head is nominated for datatransmission. Nomination of cluster head is done on the basis of probability function andresidual energy of nodes. Finally proposed routing protocol displays better results in terms ofnetwork lifetime, network energy consumption and packet transmission to the base stationcompared to the existing routing protocol.

Abstract— Wireless Sensor Network is one of the leading research fields recently which may beused in almost every field. The outdated LEACH routing protocol is still reflected for the variousresearch field but in this paper the improved LEACH routing protocol is presented as an energyefficient Cluster Head selection allowing distance and energy as main parameters. The existingprobability function has been modified according with the distance and energy parameters. Therefore distance and energy parameter select the energy efficient Cluster head fortransmission of data. The simulation results show that the selection of cluster head in modifiedLEACH routing protocol is better compared to the existing LEACH routing protocol. BetterCluster Head selection further advances the overall performance of the network along with thenetwork lifetime compared to the existing LEACH routing Protocol.

Abstract— Depression or Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is a psychiatric disorder. It is themajor contributor to overall global burden of disease. Any deterioration in brain functioning isreflected in Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals.EEG signals are highly complex, non-stationaryand non-linear. So it is very difficult to analyze visually and identify changes in the waveform inorder to classify MDD and normal subjects. Thus computerized quantitative EEG is used for theanalysis of signals.

Support Vector Machine(SVM) using band power feature reported an accuracy of 98.33%and using Kernel Eigen-Filter-Bank Common Spatial Patterns (KEFB-CSP) gave an accuracy of91.67%.[4][14]Logistic Regression (LR) using band power feature reported an accuracy of98.33%,using 4 non-linear features combination provided an accuracy of 90%, using wavelettransform provided an accuracy of 87.5%& using only alpha power gave an accuracy of73.3%.[4][9][15]Naïve Bayesian (NB) using band power feature provided an accuracy of96.8%[4].Artificial Neural Network using Relative Wavelet Entropy (RWE) reported an accuracyof 98.11%,using power spectrum feature gave accuracy of 84% & using Lep-Ziv complexityaccuracy of 60%-80% was reported[6][8][20] .Linear Discriminant Analysis(LDA) reported anaccuracy of 91.2% using SASI(Spectral Asymmetry Index) and DFA(Detrended FluctuationAnalysis)[17].Decision Tree provided an accuracy of 80% using EEG band power as feature.[11]The study reveals that in general high classification accuracy is achieved by SVM,LR and ANNand highest classification accuracy of 98.33% is achieved by SVM. Highest accuracy is achieved

by SVM because it is more robust and computationally more efficient due to maximal margingap between separating hyper planes and kernel trick.

The study gives some ideas which could be helpful for guiding and improving futureresearches. Since linear and non linear method for feature extraction are both equally efficient. So any of the linear/ non-linear featurecan be used. For feature selection and reduction GeneticAlgorithm (GA), Principal Components Analysis (PCA) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) canbe used. Since SVM,LR and ANN give high classification accuracy any of them can be used orany hybrid technique like GA-SVM,GA-ANN,GA-J48graft DT can be used.

This paper compares various EEG signal analysis techniques, compares their accuracy andmethodology used and finally recommends the most suitable technique based on the accuracyfor detection of depression. The paper also summarizes some of the key finding related to EEGfeatures based on present state of art. These results could be helpful for guiding and improvingthe future research in this area.

Abstract— An 863 nm bottom emitting Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) diode issimulated under wide range of operating temperatures. Based on this VCSEL, a digital opticallink comprising of Graded- index Multi Mode Fiber (MMF) and a Si based P-type-Intrinsic-N-type (PIN) photodetector is numerically evaluated. The operating temperature of VCSEL isvaried in the range of 20 ˚C - 120 ˚C and its impact on the MMF link is evaluated for 1.25 Gbpsand 2.5 Gbps. The link performance is evaluated by determining Quality factor (QF) and BitError Rate (BER). For a data rate of 1.25 Gbps, the maximum distance is found to be 0.64 km at120 ˚C and 0.3425 km for 2.5 Gbps at 100 ˚C, for a BER = 10-12, as per IEEE 802.3.z standard.

Abstract— In an environment where noise is our constant companion, quality of speech signalhas degraded considerably in recent times. Noise reduction from speech signals is a very criticalresearch area. Lately, hardware implementation of speech enhancement algorithms emergedas an important area of research. Hardware implementation provides designers crucialinformation about an algorithm structure such as hardware (resource) requirements, powerconsumption, structural complexity, and real-time performance (operating frequency, criticalpath delay and latency). In this paper, various high speed adaptive filtering structures aredesigned and implemented on Xilinx FPGA platform. It has been observed that various VLSIimplementations vary considerably in clock speed, hardware requirements, latency and cost. For instance, the clock speed and power consumption of retimed DF-RDLMS implementation isfound to be 85.492 MHz and 491.68 mW whereas that of conventional unretimed DF-LMSstructure is 73.325 MHz and 570.61 mW respectively, thereby having an improvement of 16.5% in clock speed and 13.8% in power consumption.

Abstract— Design of high resolution ADCs in scaled CMOS technology is challenging due toincreased component mismatch, comparator offset, and finite op-amp gain error. In this work,a mixed signal commutated feedback capacitor switching (CFCS) calibration technique has beenproposed to improve the ENOB and linearity of ADCs with multi-bit pipeline architecture.During normal operation of ADC, the fixed sampling capacitor is swapped in the feedbackcapacitor. We have distributed the sampling capacitor and swap the feedback capacitor withthe sampling capacitor(s) in the MDAC of each pipeline stage ADC. The mismatch of differentpipeline stages are concurrently corrected in the digital domain. Proposed technique requiredigital calibration circuits and requires no extra calibration phase cycles. The prime objective ofthis work is to achieve high linearity and ENOB in pipeline architectures with low powerconsumption. Behavioral simulation of 16-bit 5Ms/s pipeline ADC in UMC 0.18um double polytriple metal processes with proposed calibration shows significant improvement in DNL with σ =0.25 % capacitor mismatch with correct 16-bit digital output. The design is implemented usingHSPICE simulation. The robustness of the proposed technique has been verified by process, temperature and voltage (PVT) variation simulations and Monte Carlo analysis.

Abstract— Activity Based Computing Technology (ABCT) captures states of user along with itsenvironment by exploiting heterogeneous sensors to provide adaptation to exogenouscomputing resources. Typically, these sensors enable continuous monitoring of numerousphysiological signals when attached to the human body. This finds wide application in areas ofactivity monitoring, bio-medical rehabilitation, and fitness tracking. Primary challenges inembedded application development for smart wearable include high energy efficiency and usercompatibility. Existing algorithms and applications are still unable to fully utilize the true powerof the data being collected. They provide lot of descriptive data analytics but lack in predictiveanalysis. Energy efficiency of computing as predicted by Koomey's is expected to strike thesecond law of thermodynamics based on Launder's Limit within few decades. The crux of this implementation is CalorieMatrix Regeneration via state feedback technique using Markov Decision Process and GeneticAlgorithm. Number of generations required by the genetic algorithm to reach a suboptimalsolution is optimized. While Machine learning algorithms are written in C/C++ for effectiveembedded implementation, certain computationally expensive modules like MDP and GA arecoded in Python with proposed IOT cloud based implementation thereby improving batteryefficiency to 12-16 hours. Abstract— In developing nation like India most of the population is dependent onagriculture.60-70% population [1] depends only on agriculture and related sectors. Despitetechnological development in the entire field, now full attention is required in agriculturesystem to enhance the production & quality of crops. The production of crops plays a majorrole in the enhancement of GDP of the country. Quality of food gives the healthy life to thepeople. Not only human life depends on the agriculture animals and other creature depends onagriculture. So many factors should be trend and enable to generate good quality of crops e.g.good quality seed, fertilizers, soils, and waters and weathers. As the farmers of our country arenot so much literate and aware of the technology as a result the crop production is not up tothe mark. If the farmers can embrace new technology the condition would be different and theagriculture sector can become the major employment source. Application of IoTs can help tofarmer to increase the crop yield and minimizing the hard work done by the farmers. In thispaper the main objective is to let the farmers know about their necessary items such as goodquality seeds, fertilizers, soils, waters and weathers. They also know about market value andportability of their crop. For a good yield setup how farmer will know how much water isrequired, when it is required and how much fertilizers are required, which type of crops theycan plant etc. These objectives can be achieved with the support of advance technology likeSensors and GSM. IoTs will help in predicting the crop yield, soil quality, soil temperature, waterlevel and proper timing of crop to be delivered. Therefore a system need to develop to enhancethe farming procedure and reducing human effort and thereby increased farming output.

Abstract— Internet of Things (IoTs) plays a significant role in directly integrating physical worldwith computer-based systems by sensing and controlling various features, even remotely, which leads to reduction in human intervention to a larger extent. This results in improvedefficiency, better accuracy and easily accessible data. This paper proposes the study andimplementation of remotely accessible health monitoring system to monitor blood pressurelevel with IoT. It enables user to improve health related risks by collecting vital signs i.e.temperature, blood pressure, sugar level etc. of the patients and communicating theseinformation to detector in real time scenario. After the proper examination of the currentstatus and full medical information, it also aids in transmitting the accurate decision taken bydoctor and precautionary measures required to be taken by the patients. In this manner, patients are constantly under the observation of doctor, even being physically apart with eachother. Thus, IoT serves as a catalyst for healthcare by creating a brilliant and efficient network.

Abstract— Road transportation in India is assumed to be second largest network. To managesuch a large network Toll Collection method is used. Toll is collected manually, which requires atoll attendant. Manual process is time consuming, resulting in huge rush at Toll booth. Tollcollection is one of the important problems in India. For making smooth system required IoTsbased systems that maintain the vehicle health as well as toll tax when passing through any tollbooth. In one toll approx 24 peoples working in shift in classical systems. But in proposedsystem no one is required on booth. Everything is monitored by remotely. For this setuprequired main items server based system with collection of high speed internet Adhar CardZigBee & GPS. Then toll charges will display on monitor and message will forward to owner ofvehicles and payment will deduct from the account of owner. No need to pay in every booth bydriver. For this whole system when vehicles will enter in the city in starting booth officers willcollect the relevant information(Vehicle papers, owner aadhar card etc) from driver if vehiclesare old and they will paste the barcode in that vehicles. In new purchased vehicles this systemsdata base created during delivering the vehicles to customers. When compared to traditionalmethod, this method is very easy and also reduces the user’s wastage of time.

Abstract— A broadband coupler has been designed using multi-mode resonator (MMR) technique. Itresonates in four different modes of frequencies. Out of these, three of them are responsible forbroadening the operating band. Operating bandwidth may be controlled precisely by the impedanceratio of the resonator. The coupling is tunable by the gap between coupled transmission lines of thecoupler. Finally, a forward-wave 10dB directional coupler ranging from 4 to 8 GHz has been designed. The design has advantages like single layer, without bond-wire and compact in size.

Abstract— The fusion of EDFA and optical fiber causes an expansion in the transmissioncapacity over the large distances and thus making optical fiber a prevalent broadbandcommunication technique. The practical execution of EDFA offers long transmission distanceswith less attenuation. However, in order to get high transmission range with high data ratesusing existing SMF then techniques must be there to compensate the dispersion caused by fibernon linearity. In optical fiber communication, DCF and FBG are the trending dispersioncompensation techniques. The use of DCF and FBG as a method of compensation of dispersioncan notably heighten the overall performance of the system. In this paper, DCF and FBG asdispersion compensator are compared in terms of Q-factor and BER at 100 Gbps launched overa SMF of 120 Km by using Optisysem 7.0 software. On the basis of results, it is suggested to useDCF as a best chromatic dispersion compensation technique in pre compensation mode.

Abstract— The Audio System of the Humans is more complicated and not easy to analyze orunderstand than the visual systems of the humans. Due to this, various effective watermarkingalgorithm have been implemented and introduced for digital text and digital images.Only feweralgorithms have been introduced or selected for the Audio watermarking. This paper proposes a novelrobust approach for the audio watermarking using voiceprint of a speech signal with wavelet transform.Haar and different orders of Daubechies wavelets have been used for the above-mentioned task. Theperformance of voiceprint based audio watermarking using wavelet transform has been comparedbased on percentage compression, retained signal energy and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). Higher orderDaubechies wavelets have shown better performance for audio watermarking in terms of variousperformance parameters as mentioned.

Abstract— Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) is new emerging technology which overcomethe limitations of CMOS technology in terms of area, power and latency. Majority Voter (MV)and Inverter (INV) are the basic elements used in designing of digital circuits in QCA. MajorityVoter can be used as either AND gate or OR gate by setting one of the input (i.e. ‘0’ or ‘1’respectively) of 3-input Majority Voter. In this paper, we proposed Hybrid Adder-Subtractorimplemented using QCA that utilizes 3-MV and 2-INV. The proposed circuit has been designedefficiently using minimum number of QCA cells and required area as compared to previouswork on Adders & Subtractors in QCA. The design of Hybrid Adder-Subtractor (HAS) is based onMajority Voter used as basic logical device instead of AND gate and OR gate. Booleanexpression has been found using J-Map gives the expression in terms of Majority Voter (MV) forproposed Hybrid Adder-Subtractor. The proposed circuit has been designed using single layerwithout crossover and tested using QCADesigner tool that utilizes 62 cells has area of 0.0518µm2 and latency of 1 clock cycle has an improvement compared to previous work had beendone. Our aim is provide an efficient design which can be useful for designing of large andcomplex digital circuits.

Abstract—In this paper, MIMO antenna is designed which consists of two planar symmetricalmonopole antennas and T-slot adjoining to the common ground plane. The return loss is below-15dB for a wider bandwidth. The overall antenna size is low as 35mm×22mm but effect of themutual coupling among the antenna elements is reduced and is below -10dB in lower range andbelow -20dB at higher frequency range within wider frequency range of 4-10.5GHz. Theresonant frequency is taken as 4.4GHz. The designed MIMO antenna has two ports whosereflection coefficient behaves as shadow of one another which is considered to be better interms of efficiency. In this process, the maximum gain achieved is approximately 2dB. Thedesign has been verified and is ready for fabrication so that the MIMO antenna can bepractically used. The design has been simulated using Ansoft HFSS software 15.0. Abstract— In today's world it is very much required to a country's military to be technicallyadvanced. The most famous technology in military field is use of drones or in other wordsQUADCOPTERS. Therefore I intend to aid in improving this technology by creating a ALLTERRAIN ROVER QUADCOPTER which can fly and can move also on any type of surfaces (including special case for water) which is required by military forces. It will work on normalprinciple of quad-copter and the added feature to it is it's wheel and streamlined &aerodynamic central body. It is so designed that in most of the case the propellers will not beharmed. Military can use it to pick up any small object from it ( say up to dia of 5cm ) withaverage pay load capacity. It is of grass colour so can move in bushes creating a camouflageeffect without being observed

Abstract— This paper presents Modeling of Automated Story Generator tool, to generateinsights from custom data-sets based on selected fiscal/budget indicators prepared by budgetresearchers. The aim of this to ‘educate’ the user into developing insights from available budgetdatasets across multiple government sources. The tool has been developed as an example toshowcase how insights can be garnered from a prepared dataset using different visualizationlike choropleth maps, Group Bar charts. The paper discusses how clustering of data can be modelled based on different parameters andat different level. The transformation of the flat dataset to modelled data format has been alsodiscussed. Conversion of flat 2-Dimensional Data format to multi-dimensional data formatrequires Data Munging using suitable scripts.Budget Data Visualization has always been a difficult task because of multiple reasons. Lack ofconsistency in format across different tiers of government and across different state budgetdocuments creates the hurdle to run automated data extraction scripts. This creates the needfor manual intervention which is a time taking process. The paper also showcases the scope ofinformation that can explored if the dataset is are prepared in clean machine readable format.
