The experience wasn’t pleasant, death stared at me fiercely, but I survived. Today, I am here to help prevent another person from suffering same. If I can talk about it, engage with others and support the cause of saving 2000 lives, then lets do this. I am all in” Paa “I believe that prevention is better than cure. I hope by my contributions, other children will have better health opportunities”. Ade “The Tamale project resonated with me so much because first of all, I am from Ghana and have at first hand the devastating effect of malaria. I have worked in hospitals and seen people die of the disease.” Dr. Ben. The reason why I am leading this project to bring 1,000 malaria nets to Tamale is because in recent years, I have travelled in many countries in Africa, including Ivory Coast, Mali, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, etc. During those trips I have witnessed the significance difference in standards of living there; and us here in Western Europe. I believe we can help our friends from the life. This project to bring malaria nets to people in Tamale, is a way I can use to make a difference to help our friends in the southern hemisphere and connect with them.” Rafael.
