Yes & No Questions Using Do, Does, & Did

Structure PRESENT = Do/Does + subject + verb in base form PAST = Did + subject + verb in base form

Examples:Do you like pizza? – Yes, I like it.Did you read The Hunger Games? – No, I didn’t read it

yet.Does Sarah watch a lot of TV? – Yes, she watches a lot of

TV!Do you have homework? – No, I don’t.Does he work with you? – No, he doesn’t work with me.

In Negative responses always use helping verb do, does, or did
