Question 7: (Preliminary task and Final Video screen grabs)

By Shope

Page 2: Question 7 eval

The title that we used was very plain and boring. There was no colour being presented in it. We also didn’t have a production name back then either.

Preliminary Task

More interesting font and also a effect as the title comes up too.

Final Video

Preliminary Task Final Video

Action shots, are always filmed as mid-shots or long shots so that we are able to see the main character fully and the scenery around it.

Preliminary Task

Shot reverse shot is shown in our preliminary task as Trish is walking up to Shope (me) the camera shows us from both different views.

Final Video

Shot reverse shot is also shown when Jack is looking at Natasha because it focuses on full close-ups of her body first and then back to him.

Preliminary Task

The 180 degree rule is being followed throughout the conversation that Trish and Shope (me) have.

Final Video

The 180 degree rule is being followed throughout the conversation between Jack and Natasha however it doesn’t even last long as she gets killed off very early on in the sequence.

Preliminary Task

This screen grab shows evidence of match on action being used because as Trish is running up the stairs and Shope (me) is trying to catch her, it shows a shot of their feet running up the stairs as well and this is match on action.

Final Video

Close up of Jack’s feet as he is running away.

Preliminary Task

The 180 degree rule got broken at this point because we filmed Trish running through the door from the wrong side.

Final Video

We didn’t break the 180 degree rule here, we always film Jack from the same side.
