We are the fifth grade of Primary students.
OUR CITY
We have everything: schools, libraries, sports centres, train
and bus station, airport, hospital, church...and, of course, our
houses...

WE WORK IN GROUPS
A perfect city sited in a perfect place but it had a
problem: its habitants never saved energy...
And they didn´t realice the
importance for the Earth

Suddenly...one day, our city lights were turned off.
The city was in the dark...and no one knew
why.
The Blackout took place in our city
When we discovered that nothing works in the city, we looked for possible causes:
“Electrical overload”
“Electrical Storm”
“Hungry wild animals”
“Energy Thieves”
“Economic crisis: power cuts”
And, of course, “the aliens”
When we discovered that nothing works in the city, we looked for possible causes:

The families met to dicuss
problems and find solutions.
It was very important to do
it, but all together!!
The Mayor sent us a letter in which he explained the problems of the city. He would try to fix it so soon...
And We found we could do to look after our planet
Working all together it was
discovered....always it´s much better!!
After this, each family decided to write a letter for
the Mayor explaining everything that they´d been discovered: the causes and
the solutions to the problems.
And They sent it!!
The mother of one of the students came to our city to explain the adventages of using renewable energies. We learned many new
things to take care of the city and the planet.
She conducted
an experiment
on the battery of hydrogen. A new way
to save energy.
THESE ACTIVITIES ARE VERY USEFUL FOR OUR PUPILS, THEY
GET BETTER UNDERSTAND ALL THE MAIN CONCEPTS.
A FUN AND PARICIPATIVE TEACHING.
WE PARTICIPATE IN THE ENERGY BUS, AN
ACTIVITY OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION,
ORGANIZED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TRES
CANTOS.ii
We were excited with all our work and all the other complementary activities!!Make the families and the city.

Conclusions.
CONCLUSIONS
*We´ve learned that we can realize a good job if we work in teams.*We´ve learned more responsability in our work.*We´ve understood that it is easier to find solutions respecting the opinions and ideas of others.*We have achivied with this project extend our knowledge and review what we already know.*We have fun working together.*And also, we have managed to understand the importance of saving energy for the care of our planet.
