INIRODUcnON

The Cote-Nortoba Property lies in Poplar Point and Sandra Townships, Ontario. Four claim blocks surround the past A.E. Tyson property. A. E. Tyson had found significant deposits of gold and molybedenum in 1963. Claim block # TB 1187533 now covers Tyson's past discovery. The author of this report believes that these occurrences continue to the east and the west on his claim blocks and expects to find significant deposits of both minerals.

Mineral exploration has taken place in this area since 1935. Many manually stripped areas have been noted during this work program. The work program began during the summer of 2003 and continued during the summer and fall of 2004. The program was concentrated at the south-east comer of Claim #3005085 (16 units). Prospecting, manual stripping, geological mapping of the outcrops and sampling were done.

A grid was constructed at the same time using the southern property line as a base line. Lines were flagged at 100 meters with station at 50 meter intervals for control.

The property was optioned to Roxmark Mines Ltd. early in January 2005.

GEOLOGY - REGIONAL, PROPERlY and WORK AREA

REGIONAL GEOLOGY

The Cote-Nortoba property lies in an area burned by a forest fire during May 1999. This area was mapped by Tom Hart, OGS during the summer of2002 (OGS Open File Report 6095).

* * The Phoenix project area is underlain by Archean metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks of the Beardmore-Geraldton Belt (BGB), which form the southern margin of the eastern Wabigoon Subprovince. The BGB is bounded to the south by metasedimentary rocks of the Quetico Subprovince and, to the north, by metavolcanic rocks of the Onaman-Tashota terrance. Previous workers (Devaney and Williams 1989; Shanks 1993; Tomlinson et al. 1996) have interpreted the BGB to represent the collisional zone formed between the Wabigoon and Wawa subprovinces.

The Beardmore-Geraldton Belt was subdivided into a series of three (3), northeast-striking metasedimentary and three (3) volcanic belts by Devaney and Williams (1989). To differentiate these belts from the Beardmore Geraldton Belt, these six smaller belts of Devaney and Williams (1989) will be referred to as the northern, central and southern metasedimentary subbelts and the northern, central and southern metavolcanic subbelts. Mafic metavolcanic rocks of the southern metavolcanic subbelt (SVB) consist of massive and pillowed flows with minor tuffs, lapilli tuffs, and tuff breccias and interflow chert-magnetite iron formations. The southern metasedimentary subbelt (SSB) is composed of thinly to thickly bedded feldspathic wacke, lithic wacke, silstone, polymictic conglomerate, and mudstone and/or argillite with argillite-magnetite iron formation and jasper-hematite iron formation providing stratigraphic markers within the SSB. The central, metavolcanic subbelt (CVB) consists of intermediate massive and pillowed flows with significant tuffs, lapilli tuffs and tuff breccias, and minor interflow chert-magnetite iron formation. Exposures of the central metasedimentary subbelt (CSB) consist of polyictic conglomerate, lithic arenite and argillite-magnetite iron formation. The northern metavolcanic subbelt (NVB) is subdivided into the northern Bish Bay assemblage and the southern Poplar Point assemblage. The Bish Bay assemblage is composed of east-striking mafic pillowed to massive flows and rare tuffs resembling the SVB. The Poplar Point assemblage consists of northwest-striking, intermediate flows, tuff breccias and tuffs resembling the CVB, with subordinate mafic massive and pillowed flows.

Thinly bedded feldspathic wacke, siltstone, argillite and conglomerate of the Quetico Subprovince are exposed in the southeastern comer of the map area and resemble metamorphosed equivalents of the metasedimentary rocks of the BGB. Felsic to intermediate flows, tuff and tuff breccias of the Onaman-Tashota terrane are exposed in the northeast and northwest comers of the map area.

A number of rock types intrude the supracrastal rocks, including a series of mafic to ultrmafic synvolcanic, intermediate to felsic synvolcanic, mafic posttectonic intrusive rocks and diabase dikes. The synvolcanic gabbroic rocks form thin sills subparallel to the strike of the mafic metavolcanic rocks of the SVB and the Bish Bay assemblage (BBA). A large intrusive body located in the BBA is a composite intrusion with gabbroic phases and peridotitic phases in the south and north parts of the intrusion, respectively. A series of intermediate to felsic dikes and sills ranging from massive granodiorite to quartz porphyritic, feldspar porphyritic and feldspar-quartz porphyritic phases occur within the metavolcanic rocks of the Poplar Point assemblage (PPA). These units appear to have been emplaced along the regional foliation, although some bodies are subhorizontal in orientation. A feldspar porphyritic granodiorite dike intrudes the mafic flows of the SVB and resembles the dikes of the PPA. Late posttectonic diorite sills predominantly occur within the metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks along the contact between the SSB and CVB. Additional intrusions are located along the northern and southern contacts of the PP A. These diorite sills are generally undeformed and have chilled contacts with the metasedimentary rocks. A swarm of narrow, generally north-striking diabase dikes intrude the supracrastal rocks and appear to be predominantly Paleoproterozoic in age.

The Proterozoic diabase sills overlie both the ultramafic intrusion and Sibley Group sedimentary rocks, but the relative ages of the ultramafic rocks and Silbley Group are not known. Sedimentary rocks ofthe Silbley Group unconformably overlie the Quetico Subprovince metasedimentary rocks and are, in turn, overlain by the diabase sills. A single outcrop of carbonaceous feldspathic arenite units is located on Highway 11 in southeast Kitto Township. The ultramafic intrusion is crudely zoned, with an olivine gabbro granophyre along the upper western contact of a massive to pyroxene porphyritic peritotite of lherzolite and wehrlite composition. The peridotite forms a semicircular body located along the SVB-SSB and BGB-Quetico Subprovince contacts in western Kitto Township. A series of undulating, generally flat-lying to shallow-dipping mafic sills containing diabasic textures form part of the Nipigon sills. The sills are generally 100 m thick, and vary by 50 to 60 m in elevation over distances of 400 to 500 m. A 185 m thick sill was intersected in the workings of the Leitch, Sand River and Northern Empire mines. Sill stratigraphy is varied, and coarse-grained granophyric zones were observed toward the base of the sill and near the sill top underlying a magnetitie porphyritic phase. Contacts are commonly polygonal jointed, aphanitic chills or xenolith-rich hybrid contacts adjacent to the metasedimentary rocks.

PROPERTY GEOUX;Y

The rock types found throughout this property are numerous and varied. A narrow band of peridotite runs through the northern section of the property into the metavolcanics. Two small areas had been mapped previously (T.R Hart, 2002). A small diabase lies in the northeast comer. This intrusion is surrounded by metavolcanics, a pillowed flow, tuff breccias and basalt with epidote. Quartz and axenite veins are found throughout the northern part of the property.

The central portion of the property is made up ofa large hill, consisting mainly of quartz with diorite. A narrow band of feldspar porphyritic massive flow lies to the north. A mafic to intermediate metavolcanic constructed of breccia pillowed flow with royalite and tuff lies to the south. Tuff breccia associated with quartz ankerite veining runs throughout this area. A few small mafic diabase dikes cross this area from north to south.

WORK DONE

PREVIOUS WORK

This previous work report covers work done on portions of the Cote-Nortoba Property and the surrounding area.

1930 -1934: Springer-Sturgeon Gold Mines Limited held the West or Sellars Group. Brennan and Kenty Bros. Prospecting Company Limited held the East or Brennan-Kenty Group. Mid-Canada Exploration Company Limited optioned the Brennan-Kenty Claims, which were later optioned by Kenbro Sturgeon Gold Mines.

1935: Amorada Gold Mines Limited held 20 unsurveyed claims and 4 surveyed claims. Trenching and sampling were undertaken on gold and gold-molybenite bearing quartz vems.

1936: The Consolidated Mining and Smelting Company of Canada Limited sampled the No.3 or Molybenite Vein. A total of 530 m (1,737 feet) of diamond drilling was done, tracing the No.3 Vein to a depth of 115 m (380 feet). A molybdenite bearing quartz vein 23 m (75 feet) south of the No.3 Vein was also drilled.

1957: G. Elliot and N. V. Montgomery staked 52 claims covering the Au-Mo showings, including the former 4 leased claims that expired that year. Northwind Explorations Limited was formed to work the claims.

1958 - 1959: Nortoba Nickel Explorations Limited optioned the claims and the company was renamed Nortoba Mines Limited. Geophysical surveys, trenching, stripping and diamond drilling were performed. A gold-sulphide zone "50-70 feet (15 21 m) wide was located and traced for 120 m (400 feet) along strike. The zone is located 0.8 km southwest of the No. 1 Vein (north of the NO.3 Vein). A 75 - 100 ton/day mill was purchased and plans for a decline proposed.

1960: There was a shortage of funds and Nortoba Mines disposed of their assets.

1962: Mead Mining Corporation Limited completed 7 drill holes totaling 920 m (3,018 feet) on the property.

1963: A. E. Tyson and W. T. Woods acquired the property.

1964: Tyson and Woods bulk sampled the property (No.1 and lA Veins).

1965: Candore Explorations Limited optioned the property.

1965: Candore Explorations Limited initiated a program of geological mapping, trenching, stripping and diamond drilling (17 drill holes totaling 1,200 m (3,927 feet) to investigate the molybdenite deposit.

1983: Stroud Resources Limited optioned the property and conducted stripping, trenching, sampling and a mapping program.

1994: A prospecting, bulldozer stripping and assay sampling was carried out by P. Lassila. Two zones with significant gold values were discovered.

1995: A follow-up program to the 1994 program was undertaken by P. Lassila. Prospecting, mapping of the 1994 bulldozer stripped trenches and bulldozer stripping along extensions of the 1994 gold occurrences were conducted. Property owners, Lassila and Houghton optioned the property to Colin Bowdidge.

1996: P. Lassila undertook a program of additional prospecting and bulldozer stripping along extensions of the 1995 gold occurrences. A Scintrex MP-2 Protron Magnetometer was used to delineate and define the magnetic iron formation to the south. Detailed prospecting within these magnetic parameters resulted in the discovery of several magnetite-hematite bearing outcrops. Fifteen samples were taken for assay.

1998: P. Lassila again undertook an exploration program for Poplar Point Explorations Inc. 29.141 km of linecutting on two grids, 25.15 km of VLF EM and Magnetometer Survey (2100 station readings), 25.15 km of geological mapping, 8.9 km ofIP Survey, 43 days of prospecting. 24 grab samples for assay and 71.0 hours of bulldozer stripping were completed during this program.

1999: Twelve man-days were spent prospecting along north-south traverses by P. Lassila and F. Houghton.

While staking during 2003, an old trench was found at the eastern boundary line of claim # 3005087, approximately four (4) meters northwest of the #1 post. We returned to this location to prospect and geologically map this old trench. This showing lies in a ravine and is approximately seventy-five (75) meters wide. The pit is two (2) meters wide by twenty-five (25) meters long. A forty (40) cm quartz vein was found here. A twenty (20) cm sericitic chloritic shear is located in the center of the trench. A quartz, ankerite vein approximately twenty (20) cm wide lies just south of the shear zone. Some pyrite and chalcopyrite was noticed. The shear zone is approximately fifty (50) meters wide at this location. The quartz contains a small amount of gold. One sample of this quartz was sent for assay analysis and returned a result of 0.04 oziton. Mechanical stripping needs to be done in this area. (See Strip # 1).

This work program has proven that gold is distributed throughout this property. Fourteen samples of rusted carbonate quartz ankerite veining were collected in different locations throughout the work area during the last two years. Five samples indicated that gold is found in the quartz ankerite veins. Little or no sulphides are detected at these locations. Assay results for gold returned low, but promising numbers. These veins could be an extension of the #1, #IA and #2 veins discovered by A. E. Tyson in 1967 on his property.

The quartz carbonated veins are narrow, from 5 cm to 35 cm, and are always associated with a shear zone from 4 meters up to 100 meters in wide. A large sheared rusted zone at Line 900 meters west is about 600 meters wide. The shear is rusted carbonated sericitic chlorite with quartz ankerite veins throughout. This mineral has been noticed throughout this zone. The samples taken at Line 800 west at station 250 (samples # 5, # 7 and # 11) are all from the same type of veining. Gold averages from 2 glt to 3.15 glt. This unit strikes mainly east and west. Some folding and shearing occurs throughout. The gold results warrant further exploration.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Results of this work program show that many sections of the Cote-Nortoba Property warrant a program of further stripping and sampling for gold and base metals, particularly copper and molybedelm. All proven gold occurrences should be stripped to follow the quartz carbonate throughout the property. The quartz containing gold is discovered in many locations. The large carbonation zone is over six hundred (600) meters wide, but only a small percentage of this zone has been opened up during this program. Both the old and new manually stripped areas demonstrate a high potential for significant gold deposits. Stripping, trenching and sampling the quartz are recommended.

Mark Smyk ofMNDM took two samples - one from Strip # 2, the second at Line 800 west at station 675 m north of the road and sent them for assay. Both these samples displayed very little sulphides and no visible gold.

The #1 and #IA and Number 2 vein from the A.E. Tyson discovery should be mechanically stripped and sampled. The current Cote-Nortoba work area is about 800 hundred meters east of this 1967 discovery.

Three samples returned assay analysis results of2 to 3.15 g/t Au. These samples were taken from rusted quartz carbonated occurrences. Many more ofthis type of occurrence occurs between the A.E. Tyson discovery and the present work area at the southeast end of the property.

A significant prospecting, mechanical stripping and trenching, geological mapping and sampling is highly recommended for all this property. A geological survey is also recommended. Line cutting in a northwesterly may locate the massive sulphide deposit. In 2002, Tom Hart of the O.G.S. uncovered a molybdenite vein as well as a nickel and zinc discovery at Lake Nipigon to the west of this property. A concentrated search should be made for these minerals.

The property was optioned in January 2005 to Roxmark Mines Ltd. Roxmark plans to begin processing the molybdenite this spring and to undertake a prospecting program as well.
