Hon. Melchor Arthur Carandang Overall Deputy Ombudsman

“If we fail to make the

proper intervention as

teachers, as parents, as

school officials, as

classmates, or as

friends — if we refuse

to care, we might be

helping students

become potential

dangers to society and

respondents in the

Awarding of Certificates

Having accomplished and submitted reports on their projects, the

following CICs were awarded Certificates of Achievements during the

program. Nevertheless, PACPO-Luzon will still accept reports until the

end of School Year 2013-2014. The Accomplishment Report is a pre-

requisite for re-accreditation as CIC in School Year 2014-2015.

Certificates of Recognition and Appreciation were also awarded to our

DepEd coordinators and event volunteers, respectively.

Instead of individual medals, group winners took home trophy cups filled with mini

chocolate bullions, and a dancing Jollibee doll. The prizes symbolize the fun and

camaraderie the Wacky Games aim to promote. Winners or not, we hope the

participants gained new friends in their co-crusaders.

Evaluation forms were distributed to the participants and here are

some of what they have to say about their experiences with the CIC

program and the CIC Congress.

Feedback from the Participants

Page 40: Project Documentation Report

The biggest challenge faced by our

organization is the preparation of our

reports. But with the help of each of us, we

finished it before the deadline.

The implementation of the anti-bullying

program of BAIHS-CIC received negative

remarks from some students but with

the proper information dissemination,

the program gained 100% support from

the students.

Everyone, even the small public

schools need to be informed of the

CIC program. –John Melvin Edejer,

Bugallon NHS

On the CIC program… CIC should not be a member of other

organizations in the school. CIC members with

remarkable achievements should be given

scholarships. – Arcadio Beltran, CPPNHS

The CIC would be more effective if the

PNP and local government works hand in

hand with the schools implementing the

projects. – Rosalie Basa, Arnedo NHS

The biggest challenge we faced were the

natural calamities which tended to

supsend our earthquake and fire drill. –

Patric Anthony Gonzales PNHS

The CIC program is good but

improvements are necessary in

every program. Have an open

forum so that the students can

express what they want. –

Charlote Grace Mose, Cato NHS

Our biggest challenge is the lack

of equipment and funds.

– Joseph Calle, Bogtong NHS

I hope there will be evaluation

and monitoring again at the

end of the SY, sometime

March 10-20. –Jessa Espiritu,

Don Pedro NHS I suggest weekly or monthly

monitoring of the CIC

organizations in every school. –

Rubylyn Fernandez, Sumabnit NHS

The biggest challenge we faced is

financial support for our project.

–Marvin Sarmient, Daniel

Maramba NHS

Page 41: Project Documentation Report

The MC was good. The venue was just enough to

accommodate us. The food sponsor was very

generous. We learned a lot from the event.

Sana maulit muli - Annaliza Caakbay, Tiep

NHS

Please don’t limit to 3 officers the number

of participants from each school. This is a

great opportunity for them. -Raymund

Marcos, Bayambang NHS

On the CIC Congress… Make it a three-day seminar. –Angelika

Rimpola, Dayong malabago NHS

I would like to suggest giving training

kits to participants in order for this

event to be etched in the minds of

the participants. – Jan Effraim

Rulloda, PNHS

Add competitions like debates on

how to advocate anti-corruption

and eradicate extreme poverty

caused by corrupt people. – Damsel

Ann Pobre, Cipriano Primicias NHS

I really liked the Zumba that was

included in the program. The BEST! –

Daisy Valle, Bugayong IS

May I suggest that school

administrators be also included in a

special training. – Monina Rojo, San

Aurelio NHS

The event should be at least 2-3

days so that it is enjoyable and

memorable. – Rhene Line C.

Balo, Bautista NHS

I suggest that our principal/head be invited also

next time so that they may also be aware of the

CIC programs. Over-all assessment of the

program—Excellent! – Monchito Grullo, Sumabnit

NHS

Thank you for making us part of

your successful programs and

projects!- Airah Diso, Nama NHS

…some students were

not cooperating but later

in the process …, they

realized the importance

of the project. – King Rey

Perez, Estanza NHS
