Let's have some fun shall we! Within our Style Zero Book, I have curated a selection of pure Scandi­

navian flat woven textiles, the simplicity of a woven texture so reflective of the fundamental aspect

of Danish purity and craftsmanship.

Perfectly matching the term minimal in my "Lush Minimalism" design aspect, I selected the Pro and

Knit Collections and textures to add in the Lush factor. The combination of fun colors in a tweed

structure for all Pro designs and more faded colors in a knitted texture for all Knit designs create

the perfect balance of "Lush Minimalism".

In the total conviction that names of designs, art pieces or any design work should reflect the

content of the work, I have carefully selected names for all designs for our ege A-Porter and ege

Couture Collections. On a mission to create some really fun names reflecting the spirit of the Pro

and Knit designs, and paired with an excellent bottle of Chardonnay, you can now have fun speci­

fying textile flooring. In the mood for some Midnight Kiss with Silver Fox under Electric Rain? Or

would you rather have Pillow Talk with Cotton Candy?

We support DIFFA. Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS is one of

the largest supporters of direct care for people living with HIV/AIDS and

preventive education for those at risk. Merging care and commerce, sup­

porters of DIFFA come from all fields of fine design and the visual arts.

DIFFA was founded in 1984 and the success of DIFFA's fundraising is the

result of the imagination and generosity of the design industries and the

volunteers who support it. As part of DIFFA's specify with care program, ege donates 1% of our

sales in the USA to the Foundation. Supporting and assisting charitable projects lies deep in our

hearts as we truly care to an extent that goes beyond the ordinary. We hope that you too will em­

O U R G R E E N S TO R Y

The ege name is derived from the company founder Mads Eg Damgaard.

In Danish, "eg" means "oak" and just like an old oak tree we have strong

roots and a big interest in the environment. We strive for a greener future

in everything we do. To that end, we continuously seek to innovate our

products and processes. We recycle used water bottles by turning them

into our patented Ecotrust felt backing for tiles. For the same reason we

use ECONYL® yarns regenerated from used fishing nets that are reborn

as strong and hardwearing yarns for textile floorings. We strive to be a

role model in the textile flooring industry – not by using buzzwords but

by acting.
