May 29, 2020 Dear Princeton Viking Families, As the 2019-2020 school year comes to an unconventional close, I want to thank you all once again for your patience, flexibility, and support in helping students continue to learn remotely. The last couple of months have been challenging. The impact on our schools will be long-lasting. We can and will make improvements as a community. In our educational realm, our Princeton Academic Plan, Remote Learning Plan , and One2One Technology Plan will be the framework that guides us as we continue our mission of “empowering each student for college, career, and life success.” We are currently working on the Strategic Plan, along with plans for reopening our schools. Your input is valuable as we create pathways to best meet the needs of each individual student. Community input will be happening in several ways: through surveys, small focus groups, online chats, and virtual public meetings. The survey will be emailed to you. Please share your voice with us. As we continue to work on and finalize our 2020-2021 school year plans, please be assured that we will communicate information on our website, eNews, social media, mailed newsletters, and emails. During the summer, vikingmail accounts will remain active. We encourage you and your children to check often for updates and information. When we started this school year, we had a clear vision, and no one could have imagined we would be ending the school year this way. I am extremely proud of our students and staff for working hard and making the best of this challenging situation. Our Princeton High School Class of 2020 Virtual Graduation will air on Saturday, May 30th. We are proud to recognize our exceptional senior class. Our program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a tribute to the seniors. The formal commencement ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. Help us celebrate the class of 2020 by sharing the links from FaceBook , YouTube, or icrctv.com with your family members around the world. Once again, thank you to all of the students, parents/guardians, staff, board members, elected officials, business partners, and the entire educational community for their commitment to the Princeton City School District. Take good care, stay healthy, and as always, Go Vikes!

Dear Princeton Viking Families,

As the 2019-2020 school year comes to an unconventional close, I want to thank you all once again for your patience, flexibility, and support in helping students continue to learn remotely.

The last couple of months have been challenging.  The impact on our schools will be long-lasting. We can and will make improvements as a community. In our educational realm, our Princeton Academic Plan, Remote Learning Plan, and One2One Technology Plan will be the framework that guides us as we continue our mission of “empowering each student for college, career, and life success.”

We are currently working on the Strategic Plan, along with plans for reopening our schools.

Once again, thank you to all of the students, parents/guardians, staff, board members, elected officials, business partners, and the entire educational community for their commitment to the Princeton City School District.

Take good care, stay healthy, and as always, Go Vikes!

Respetuosamente,

Tom BurtonSuperintendente
