Create a collage that displays images of how math applies to real life. This could

Q1. Complete the Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action (SEWA) project on A4 size sheet in a spiral bind file. Read the given guidelines carefully while making the project.

Guidelines for Project 1 Name of the project: Swachcha Vidhyalaya Swachcha Bharat.

a) Focus: To spread awareness about Cleanliness and Sanitation.

b) Key objectives: For learner or students Identify and clean the dirty places. Know the importance of cleanliness in neighborhood, parks, market places, roads

and cities. Be aware of unclean and unhealthy surroundings as breeding ground of

epidemics and diseases. c) Project process

Identify the area of focus and prepare a road map to achieve the given targets. The given ideas can be further explored. Disposal of human waste properly and safely. Proper garbage disposal. School sanitation. Personal hygiene. Green and blue bins. Water conservation. Spending a day with sanitary workers and visiting a city water works. Collect the above data and road prepare report of the class.

d) Suggestions Students are required to complete the task in the groups allotted in advance by

the mentor. They need to perform the same activity individually also so that they can assess

their own learning from the project. Create awareness and take up projects to ensure cleanliness of water sources

like lakes, rivers, ponds. The allotted groups can share their conclusion and experience of the project

through TV programs and make videos on you tube.

Guidelines for Project 2 Name of the project: Dignity of Labour.

a) Focus: Considering the inequality in the society so that steps can be taken to uplift the dignity of labour class.

b) Key objectives: For learner or students Understand the importance of different occupations in our social system such as, ice-cream lorry, balloon man, tea staller, kite seller, bangle seller,knife sharpener, food lorry, etc.

Inculcating respect for all types of work among everyone. Understanding the value of Human Rights.

c) Project process Identify the area of focus and prepare a road map to achieve targets. The given hints can be further explored. Collect newspaper cuttings highlighting respect for human rights and violation of

human rights. Collect views of elders/parents/other adults on the same. Collect quotations and quips on the same. Spending a day with sanitary workers and visiting city water work. Collect the above data and road prepare report of the class.

d) Suggestions Students are required to complete the task in the groups allotted in advance by the

mentor. They need to perform the same activity individually also so that they can assess

their own learning from the project. Group can contribute to community work by regulating and facilitating the job of

people from different walks of life in their respective areas. Organize a discussion in group where people victimized due to their profession

Students can discuss about the importance of different vocations in a social structure. Students can bring a change in their behavior towards themselves. They can discuss the social or mental problems that arise from lack of respect for

labor in different categories. Elucidate the ideas you have gathered from your preparation on the value of ‘dignity
