Your holiday homework is a fun mix of all the aspects of the language. It has been designed to ensure that you enjoy and learn at the same time.

Note that almost all your holiday homework is based on your further FA activities. So ensure you do it thoroughly.

1. Pay attention and time on your handwriting improvement, spellings and reading skills. 2. Read Supplementary Reader ‘Rebecca’, chapters 1 to8. Frame three short answer questions and two

long answer question along with their answers from each chapter. 3. Solve all the ‘Sentences’ exercises from Mastering Grammar (pg. no. 5-9) and Practice Worksheets (pg.

no. 5-9). 4. Learn and write all the word meanings of prose and poems of SA1 for a test to be held in the first week

of July. 5. Write diary for the following days – May 20th to May 30th 2016.

NOTE: All the H.H.W is to be done on ruled punched sheets, compiled and submitted in a folder.

6. Read any one of the following story books and write a summary for the same in about 100 words on the

last page of your almanac.

3. Complete assessment questions of chapter 7 (Conservation of Plants and Animals) in fair notebook. 4. Practice all the diagrams of chapter – Cell - Structure and Function and Sound. 5. Consult your family doctor and write a report on ‘Control and Prevention of Communicable

Diseases’. Also collect a few pamphlets on prevention, timely detection and vaccination of some communicable and non-communicable diseases and attach them with your report in your fair notebook.

(ii) State the advantages and disadvantages behind using any 2 conventional and 2 non- conventional sources of energy.

5. Design a poster highlighting the energy conservation tips you would take as a responsible citizen. 6. Conservation of natural vegetation is the need of the hour. Make a poster on conservation of natural

vegetation. Write appropriate slogans and quotations. 7. Write down the Preamble of the Indian Constitution in your notebook.

Weiβe Woche in den Dolomiten!

Kannst du schon Ski fahren? Dann kannst du mitmachen. Kannst du gar nicht Ski fahren? Kein Problem! Du kannst trotzdem mitmachen und einen tollen Skikurs mit einem erfahrenen Skilehrer besuchen.

Die Klasse 7c organisiert eine weiβe Woche in Sudtirol, und zwar in St. Ulrich. Wann? In den Winterferien, vom 14. bis 20. Februar.

Wie wohnen in einem tollen Hotel mit Hallenbad und Diskokeller. Stell dir vor: Ski fahren, dann schwimmen und am Abend tanzen. Super, meinst du nicht? Und das ist gar nicht so teuer. Nur 300 Euro!
