General Information
Flights
The costs of flights to the Program in Tanzania is covered by the Humanitarian Innovation Academy
Visa
The Academy will organise and cover the costs of Visa’s
Insurance
Health and travel insurance is covered by the Humanitarian Innovation Academy
Vaccinations
Participants are to enquire and pay for any necessary vaccinations and/or medical requirements in
advance of the program.*
Accommodation
Shared accommodation is provided by the Humanitarian Innovation Academy in collaboration with
the University of Dar Es Salaam.
Transport
Transportation costs to and from program locations are covered by the Humanitarian Innovation
Academy.
Additional living expenses
Food & Drink: The Humanitarian Innovation Academy will provide light refreshments during
workshops. Participants are however expected to pay for breakfast, lunch and supper. (This is about
10 euros / day)
Any other costs: Participants are expected to cover any other costs related to leisure and/or
personal expenses.
Fundraising Activity
The Trinity Development & Alumni has kindly offered to cover the above costs. To however cover
other administrative costs and miscellaneous expenses, we encourage each student to try and raise
a minimum of 300 euro to serve as a contribution towards the program costs.
