PRESIDENT’S
MESSAGE
SAVE THE DATE
LIBERTY DINNER
July 16, 2016 ---- Morongo Hotel and Casino ---- Speaker To Be Announced
The past six months have flown by and summer is coming. Our June 17th
Luncheon Meeting will mark our half way point in the year and will be
the last meeting prior to our summer break.
A few months ago we were excited about the Republican Presidential
Candidate Line up with 17 contenders. We watched many debates, some we felt were not
always fair to our choice of candidates. We were committed to our choice and saddened as they
dropped out of the race.
In June and November, Republican Voters will have Donald Trump, the only Republican Candidate
remaining in the race on their ballot. Some of us are thrilled, some of us are appalled, some of us have
even echoed the “Never Trump” line. This is forcing an awkward reckoning for those who have not
supported him. Coming together is going to be hard, but needs to happen or Hillary wins! We need to
overcome our differences with Trump and recognize that he has broadened the GOP’s appeal to
millions of new voters. Trump has the formula for electing a Republican President. The alternative is
frightening.
I want to thank our RRWF Board, Members and Associates for the hard work and dedication that you
have given during the past six months. Our club continues to be one of the best because of you working
together, and undertaking the tasks that are critical for our continued success.
When we reconvene in September we will be asking for volunteers for RRWF Board and Committee
Positions for 2017. Please contact any Board Member if you are interested. I know that some of you
are volunteering to help with the Campaigns for our Republican Local, State and US Candidates. Please
continue to do so; several will need a lot of help before the November Election.
I hope that all of you will have a great summer.
Marion, RRWF President

RESERVATIONS PLEASE
PLEASE, PLEASE – RSVP’s are absolutely needed for our monthly luncheons. We
have tried very hard to make this easy!!! RSVP to Coralee, our treasurer, at 951-776-
4333 or e-mail her at [email protected] no later than Thursday morning before the
luncheon. She will then be back in touch to CONFIRM your reservation. We have had
positive feedback with table assignments for those wanting to sit with a friend and that is
really the easiest part. The hard part is finding seats for people not on the list and further,
having enough food for them. The Victoria Club sets up the room the night before,
schedules the food needed and the number of waiters needed.

PRESIDENTS OF RRWF These dedicated and patriotic women stepped up to lead our club. They have given generously of their
time, talent and leadership abilities to bring the best to the members of RRWF.
They have volunteered their time,
have you? Do you have an hour a
week to work on a Facebook page?
Do you have an hour a month to be
our Historian and keep track of our
historical records. There are many
jobs that don’t require a lot time but
would help our club run smoother
and be better. Everyone is always
welcome at our board meetings to be
better informed about RRWF.
