Students clarify words or chunks of text they don’t understand by rereading the sentences before and after the sentence thev don’t understand, and/or asking a peer for assistance. Students summarize the paragraph or segment of text thev have just read. Student generate questions after each paragraph or segment of text thev have just read There is no review after reading There are 8 to 12, plus the teacher, in the group There are- no learning logs The "leader" (a student) facilitates the discussion about a paragraph or section of text; this role rotates alter each paragraph.
