The space industry needs to meet the challenges of new technologies and, at the same time, adhere to tight schedules and budget constraints. Space agencies and contractors are calling to expand the benefits gained by space projects. The importance of software for on-board sys-tems, mission control, ground-based systems and processing of the transmitted satellite data is increasing significantly. Projects must be carried out efficiently. Skills and experience are needed in an expanding range of diversified areas, while technical and economic risks are growing.
Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik GmbH is facing these challenges – e.g. by managing projects for the European Space Agency (ESA) and its suppli-ers, both as Prime and together with established partners from the space industry.
