In the past years, Mira group of companies has massively invested research, in the security technology domain
The construction of its own research center, which was equipped with high technological performance lab equipment and software has recently been delivered.
Mira group of companies also has a team of researchers with remarkable results, including electronics engineers, physicists, IT specialists, which have managed to develop their own products and solutions that target the expansion of the activity on external markets as well.
Research and Development
Main objective: development of the research activity in the security
technology field
Purpose of the project: increase of the complex integrated security
systems production capacity
Location: Joita, Giurgiu county
Built area: 720 sqm
Land area: 9,000 sqm
Investment: aprox. 2 million Euro, of which 0.8 mil. Euro – non-
reimbursable financial aid

• ARGOS - Advanced pRotection of critical buildinGs by Overall anticipating System
• ABSOLUTE - Aerial Base Stations with Opportunistic Links for Unexpected & Temporary Events
• RESCUECELL - Portable kit for detecting trapped and buried people in ruins and avalanches
• ADAS - Development of new non-destructive or micro destructive techniques for damage assessment of different historical collagen-based materials based on innovative software.
