Step 2. Starting on right side, begin operation of corresponding digits.

Step 3. If a sum gives a 2-digit result, record right digit and carry left one to next place value. Include the # carried over in the next column sum.

Step 4. Bring down decimal and insert commas between every 3 digits.

Step 2. Starting on right side, multiply bottom # by each # in the top row.

Step 3. If a product gives a 2-digit result, record right digit and carry left one to the next place value. Make sure to add # carried over to next product.

Step 4. Use zero as a placeholder.

Step 5. Repeat steps 2 & 3 with next bottom #. Continue until all digits in bottom # have been used. Add products.
