Will the Minister of ENVIRONMENT, FORESTS AND CLIMATE CHANGE be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government /National Board for Wildlife has cleared any projects in the last six months;

(b) if so, the details there of, project and State/UT-wise(c) whether any of the project falls under the tiger reserves in the country or are close

to 10 kilometer area of a wildlife sanctuary;(d) if so, the details thereof?(e) the number of public commercial /private projects cleared out of the above,

separately; and (f) the number of pending projects as on November, 2014 and the time by which such

projects are likely to be cleared?

(a)&(b) National Board for Wildlife in its Standing Committee meetings cleared 81 projects in the past six months, i.e., from January 2015 till date. The details of the project state/UT wise are enclosed as Annexure.

(c),(d) & (e)

Out of the projects cleared 9 projects fall under the Tiger Reserves and 27 proposals are close to 10km area of wildlife sanctuaries. Out of the cleared projects 40 are public commercial/private projects. Projects are cleared with properenvironmental safeguards. Details are provided in the Annexure.

(f) There were 106 pending proposals including incomplete proposals as on November 2014. As on date, only 11 proposals received before November 2014, are pending. 9 proposals are now complete and ready for consideration of the SC-NBWL.
