Candidate Statement: I ran for the Board of Directors in 2020. At the time I was relatively new to the real estate business and was amazed by how much the REALTOR® Association and its Board members do for us. During my first year, I learned about the Board’s many different committees and the important work of Government Affairs and RPAC. Candidate Statement: I’m running because I recognize what happens when policy makers act with good intentions, but limited vision. Last July, the Seattle City Council approved a payroll tax on businesses in Seattle. In December, the Seattle Finance Department issued a rule that resulted in the inclusion of real estate commissions paid to independent contractors. Because of this, our small businesses may lose employees. With years of experience working

with public policy boards and governmental agencies, I will use my experience to protect us from unnecessary taxes and bad policies. Your vote may help me save jobs and the people behind them.
