Marijuana, Vaping and Our Youth, What you Should Know.Dr. Kevin Hill

On Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 7 PM, we have the honor of having Dr. Kevin Hill at the Bromfield School to speak on the subject of marijuana and youth. He will also be discussing vaping and how all of this affects our youth.

Many thanks to the Harvard PTO for sponsoring this event.

This is a free event and you do not need to RSVP. It is open to the public, adults and students are invited.

Dr. Hill is an addiction psychiatrist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Hill’s clinical research has focused on treatment and intervention to help those wanting to stop the use of marijuana. He has received multiple competitive awards as an investigator and published on numerous topics of addiction.

In addition to clinical trials he directs, Dr. Hill sees patients in his private practice and consults to the Boston Red Sox, the NFL, and the NBA.

Over the past several years, Dr. Hill has been asked to weigh in on marijuana policy issues such as medical marijuana and legalization of marijuana. He is committed to bridging the gap between the science of marijuana and the public perception about marijuana. He has spoken nationally and internationally to students from public to private schools, parents, healthcare professionals, and organizations about marijuana science, policy, and treatment, as well as alcohol and opioids.

In 2015, Dr. Hill authored, Marijuana: The unbiased Truth about the world’s Most Popular Weed. Because of his broad education, training and experience in the field of psychiatry, and his unique ability to effectively communicate in common sense language, Dr. Hill is frequently called upon for his expert opinion on major news outlets.
