More than 80% of the population follows Hinduism — about 9% follow Buddhism. Our research showed that 72% of Nepal’s children and youth believe that all religions teach equally valid truths.

In Vidur’s home nation of India, extremist Hindus declare that Christianity is a foreign religion — and that those Indians who choose

it are forsaking their traditional heritage and culture.

No use for Jesus

That’s what Vidur thought, too. His family was very religious. They went often to the temple. They participated in many rituals. Vidur had no use for any other religion.

Until you reached out to him and showed him who Jesus really is. You helped to send The GodMan film — and when Vidur saw it, he began to change his mind about Jesus.

The film showed him that there is only one true God — that Jesus Christ is the son of God and God himself — and that through His death and resurrection, Jesus made a way for people to be united with God.

Vidur was so impressed with all that he saw, he decided to dedicate his life to Jesus Christ. Today, he is a joyful believer and regularly attends his local fellowship group.

When we speak of reaching children with God’s Word, we must see beyond the printed page, in order to reach these millions who cannot now and may never be able to read.

The GodMan film

The GodMan film is an animated film of Jesus’ life. A live-action opening and closing contextualizes the film to the local culture. In oral cultures, a storyteller introduces and concludes the film in person.

Where no one has gone before: your ministry to unreached people groups By President Rob Hoskins

I thank God for your commitment to reach every child with God’s Word — including the next generation in unreached people groups and hard-to-reach areas.

Often these people groups are marginalized, impoverished — perhaps

even confined to ancient tribal lands.

Mexico — Short film shares truth

BOLIVIA —Stephanie was excited to receive her Book of Hope, and says, “It teaches me many important values for my future and makes me feel as if Jesus is watching over me and teaching me ... Thank you.”

CHINA — “Children’s Day” is celebrated on June 1 in China. It’s a great day for outreach for our church partners. It was on Children’s Day that a boy named Shen came to church and received his very own Book of Hope. It helped him see his need for repentance and salvation. Today, he is following Jesus Christ.

RUSSIA — Children and whole families are being transformed by the power of God’s Word.
