HIGH ALERT MEDICATIONS

Medications that have highest risk of causing injury when misused are knownas high alert medications.

eg:- KCL, MGSO4, 50%dextrose, dopamine

Nursing considerations

� Teach the patient howto prepare the powderand how to take drugs.
