Our Dementia SPACE Team
Our Dementia SPACE Team:
• Support any employee with a key interest in dementia, from
across Making Space, to develop through education,
reflection and action planning
• Develop policies, innovative projects and team developments
to improve dementia care across Making Space
• Support anyone in a caring role by offering practical, clinical
and emotional support
Our team supports staff by delivering quality dementia training,
providing services with a tool kit which enables them to deliver
high quality services.
The toolkit includes activity resources, fact sheets, educational
programmes and we are currently rolling out a pain assessment
tool kit, so staff are able to identify the signs and symptoms of
when people are experiencing pain.
