•NGB senior leaders and LL’s meet with key members and committee staff in advance of hearings
•NGB senior leaders testify before congressional appropriation and authorization committees
State Actions
•CACOs meet with their delegations in advance of hearings
•CACOs can provide questions to committee members to get an answer to an issue of concern to the state on the record
• Includes non-Guard/RC hearings

NGB Actions
•NGB receives and responds to official questions for the record submitted by members.
•NGB-LL meets with members and staff as requested to follow up on any issues/concerns raised during the hearings.
State Actions
•CACOs can provide questions for committee members to submit as official questions for the record.
•Time is limited for Q&A. May be easier to have a question submitted for the record than asked during the hearing itself.
• Includes submitting questions for non-Guard/RC hearings.
•CACOs can continue to meet with members from their state delegation prior to NDAA and Appropriations mark-up.
