Their possibility of construction with variousmaterials allows these metering pumps to satisfyevery liquid dosing and mixing application.

Furthermore, their complete compliance withthe ATEX Standards even allows for thesepumps to be installed in hazardous areas.

MechanismsMechanical return type available in various sizes.

Main characteristics:n Internal worm gearbox, oil bath lubricated with low noise emissions

n Rotating parts on bearings to minimise power consumption

n Each mechanism comes complete with an internal gearbox; pumps with differentspeeds (strokes/min) can therefore be joined, allowing for greater flexibility in selectingthe pumps themselves

n High precision stroke adjustment, both manual and by means of an electric orpneumatic actuator or frequency converter.

n Accuracy within ± 1%

The ideal solution for applications requiring high levels of operational

safety and reliability

n Zero leakage; watertight construction for dosing toxic, corrosive and other hazardousliquids, for which the absence of leaks is fundamental

n Protection against external pollutants which could contaminate the liquid being pumped ifusing plunger pumps

n Double diaphragm, double protection; if one of the two diaphragms is damaged, theprotection system immediately signals the anomaly; the pump is nevertheless permitted tocontinue to operate, thereby preventing immediate downtime

n Flexibility of use; the PTFE diaphragms are compatible with a vast assortment of liquids

n Flow rate modularity; the rated flow rate can be changed by simply replacing the plungerand the relevant seal cartridge

n Solid suspensions; the diaphragm’s proper positioning is ensured by a mechanical systemwhich does not require the use of perforated shields on the process side, thereby allowingfor liquids containing solid suspensions to be pumped.

n Construction materials; the parts in the standard configuration that make contact with theliquid are made from AISI 316L stainless steel, PP and PVDF. Other materials available uponrequest.

Standards

Mechanical refilling system

Maintains a constant level of the hydraulicfluid, thereby guaranteeing maximumprecision and repeatability. Keeping alsounder control the deformation of diaphragmthereby increasing its duration.

Double diaphragm with rupture

detector

In the event of a rupture of one of the twodiaphragms, the detector activates either alocal visual alarm or a pressure switch. Thesecond diaphragms ensure the continuedoperation of thepump. This allowsfor scheduledmaintenance.

Pressure relief valveProtects the pump against unexpectedoverpressure.

Cartridge valvesIn order to ensure maximum dosingprecision, even for small flow rates, doubleand triple ball configurations are availablewith high precision seats. The metal gasketsfor the AISI 316L stainless steel heads, andthe FPM gaskets for those in plastic,guarantee maximum compatibility.
