2014 Fundraising Events:

THANK YOU, HOUSTON METHODIST WEST HOSPITAL

From Board leadership to financial support, Houston Methodist is giving all year long.

At Houston Methodist, caring for the Houston community means more to them than providing quality health care through its seven hospitals. It means supporting organizations to help improve the lives of those in need regardless of their circumstances.

We are honored that Houston Methodist West Hospital chooses to support Christ Clinic throughout the year. The values at Houston Methodist include Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (I CARE). We see this I CARE In Action at Christ Clinic. The local hospital supported Christ Clinic in 2014 through giving financially to the Chalk HeART event and being our highest sponsor at the Breakfast for a Blessing. Locally, we also received new waiting room chairs and a booth at the Positively Pink Breast Health event. In addition, Houston Methodist provides countless hours of volunteer time and in-kind lab donations to support patient care.

Houston Methodist is committed to leading the way in making health care affordable and accessible to the impoverished. Houston Methodist Community Benefits Program also provides monthly financial support to help Christ Clinic fulfill its mission.

Thank you Houston Methodist for caring about our community and giving back in so many ways.

Note from our Executive Director This is the time of year that provokes reflection. As I look back on 2014, I see the growth and development of new programs at Christ Clinic. These programs have allowed more people in our community, our neighbors and our friends, to receive much needed medical care. In 2014, the number of patients served at Christ Clinic reached record levels and we are honored to help those in need.

Looking back also inspires me to look forward to plan, think, hope and dream about what can happen at Christ Clinic for our patients. Our work is more important than ever during this time of continued change in healthcare. A place like Christ Clinic is needed and will continue to be needed in our community.

Individuals, the church community, local foundations, businesses and hospitals all are essential to the mission and growth of Christ Clinic. All we accomplished in 2014, and all we hope to continue to accomplish in the future, we do with the support of our community.

Your support – work, wealth, wisdom and witness – is integral to Christ Clinic’s continued success. Whether you volunteer, become an ambassador, attend one of our events, or make a gift, you are contributing to improve the lives of those in need in our area. Thank you for past and future participation and generosity. Together we keep our community healthy and strong.
