PREFACEIn these days Institute of Engineering lacks the canteen. And the previous canteen building was also not organized and there was not sufficient space for students. Due to this reason the students are suffering a lot of problems for food. They have to go to hotels outside the campus during lunch time for food. Taking this issue Deans office of IOE has forwarded the construction of new canteen in pulchowk campus premises.

For the construction of the canteen, it is necessary to design and research the building properly and assign a good contractor for the construction. Due to this reason this report is prepared that carries all the necessary details that are required for the construction of canteen.TABLE OF CONTENTS

ABSTRACTThe main objective of this report is to provide the proper information of the construction of Canteen in pulchowk campus. This project is of great importance so as to facilitate the students studying in the campus.Pulchowk campus is one of the most reputed colleges in Nepal. Students all over Nepal who have a dream of being a great enginner have a wish to study in pulchowk campus. And the students do great labour to come to pulchowk campus. So in order to fulfill the requirement of the students it is necessary to build a canteen so that it can accommodate all the students and provide better facility of food. So keeping this in mind the Deans office has forwarded the construction process.

But after the completion of this it will provide facilities for all the students of the campus with better food and proper drinking water. And the students who come to the campus for better education will not have to search hotels around the campus for their lunch. This project is also important for campus reputation. After the construction of the canteen, the students will have better and fresh food to eat daily which will not effect their health. The food outside the college cannot be trusted completely and may cause health problems to the students. The contruction of canteen will remove this problem that may affect the students education. And the students will also feel proud of the canteen facilitiy that the college has provided. This will definitely increase e the glory of pulchowk campus. And also the canteen inside the college will provide food at an affordable rate that can cover all level of students in the campus.

ANALYSISThe need of canteen In Nepal, the people are being more aware about the importance of education. And all the parents would want their children to have a better education so that they can do better in their future and give contribution to their nation. Also the students do hard labor so that they can be a respectful citizen of the nation. So education is an important part in any country. In Nepal people from rural areas where there is no facility of higher education, students come to the city areas for their education. And thus it is necessary for the colleges to have a better facility of canteen so that the students can have better and fresh food. Today most of the food on hotels is not so fresh and this may affect the health of students severely. A healty citizen build a healthy nation. Unfresh food can create a lot of health problems and may cause food poisoning. So food is very important part of life. The canteen will also provide facilities for the staff of the campus to have better food so they do not have to search other places.Keeping this in mind , the Deans office of the IOE has forwarded the process of construction of the canteen in pulchowk campus premises.
