1) Recycling : The Good! The Better! The Best!
Imagine that you are a waste material like an egg shell, vegetable peels etc. and you are
transformed into a useful item. Write a paragraph of about 50-100 words on an A-4 size
pastel sheet, about your experiences and feelings before and after the transformation.
Eg. toffee wrappers being used to make a doll combined with an ice cream spoon.

Take out a printout of this sheet. Solve the crossword puzzle and paste it on an A-4 size pastel sheet.

Lets enhance our vocabulary about Mother Earth
Find out the words given below and circle them. Take out a printout of this sheet, complete it and
paste it on an A-4 size pastel sheet.
3) Make Water Everybodys Business: Water is precious for our life. Let us join hands for our future
generation as it will not be available after 50 years, if we continue to waste and pollute it!
Lets be a reporter of NEPS Times and start a campaign to make our society aware of water
scarcity.
Interview 3 neighbours and ask them the ways to save water. Write the questionnaire for
each of the neighbours interviewed (on an A-4 size pastel sheet) along with the answers.
Examples
a) Do you know half of our country is facing a drought these days? If yes, please tell the names of at
least 3 states.
b) To avoid the problem of water scarcity, can you suggest some ways to save water? Are you
following these ways at home?
c) Do you think we can learn new techniques from other countries? Please mention any one technique
which is effective in India.
d) Are you inculcating the habit of saving water in your child?
e) Do you use a washing machine to wash your clothes?
g) Do you use the water that comes out of the outlet pipe?
4) Our Waste Matters!
Keep a track of how many drink containers you use in one week and what types you use. Be sure to
include large containers that your family uses at home like a two litre bottle or one litre tetra pack juice
container.
Take A4 sheets.
Tally your totals at the end of the week. How many of each type of container did you use in one week?
Based on this information, estimate how many you would use in one month, six months and in one year.
Chart your information on a bar graph. Compare your result. Are you above or below the average
consumption level? When you look at your results what kind of conclusions can you draw about your
personal consumption. Are there any changes you would make?

5) Fun with numbers and images!
Take an old calendar. Cut out any 8 digits from it and paste it on an A3 size pastel
sheet. Form the smallest and the greatest eight digit number using each digit once.
Write the expanded form of the formed numbers.
OR
Put On Your Thinking Caps: Solve similar types of Sudoku (any 2) as given below and paste them on an
A-4 pastel sheet size sheet.
6) Recycling Slogans
Roll no: 1-13:
Recycling Slogans are a great way to encourage people to reduce,
reuse and recycle. Make a poster on an A-3 size pastel sheet and
write a slogan on Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
Wow ! Pollution Free Delhi
Roll no: 14-26:
To stop pollution Delhi Government had started the rationing of cars (odd/even) on the roads. Suggest
some other ways to reduce pollution to make our Own Delhi Green Delhi.
Check out some other ways which are in practice in other countries also. Illustrate it with beautiful
pictures (on an A-3 size pastel sheet).
7) Be the nature protector! (Roll no. 1-13)
Wild animals are leaving their natural habitat and coming to our
cities. One of the reasons being deforestation. Try and find out
other such reasons. Surf the net / Watch a programme and find out information about a National Park.
Study the condition of animals living there and make a poster on Save Wildlife on an A-3 size pastel
sheet.

Ek Kadam Swachhata Ki Ore - Pick any city or state in India and compare the changes that
have taken place pre and post of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on an A-3 size pastel sheet.

9) Collect old and discarded objects and materials like plastic bottles, wool, coconut husk etc.
Try to make something useful out of them.

sentences.
