Equestrian Program

• The Resort stable of horses promise fun and excitement. Guests will ride through the many trails in and around the Appalachian mountain range where American Indians (Lenape, Cherokee) are known to have hunted, trapped, gamed and inhabited .

• Guests will also experience the flora and fauna of the region as well as the breath-taking views from the mountain top, further added to the experience and linked them to our Northeastern Pioneer history.

• Guests are shuttled to Mountain top for 1 hour trail ride. Cost: $60. per ride.• Day ride at 10:30am• Afternoon ride at

Nature Hike (tie in copy with hiking, fishing, boating and archery)

• Guests will connect with the past as they travel 5 miles of trails in the Northeastern woodlands of Hamburg Mountain where Delaware Indians (or Lenape) are known to have hunted, trapped, fished and farmed corn, beans and squash in early American History.

Guided Mountain Canoe/Hike

• 5 mile round trip semi-strenuous hike through ancient Native American woodlands showcase old-growth, new growth and re-forested landscapes and abundant wildlife

• 800 ft. vertical rise to the lake.

Guided Mountain Canoe/Hike

• Guests canoe for 30 minutes and then hike down the mountain to the Minerals Hotel.

• Leave Minerals at 9:30am to mountain top.

• Short lesson on Canoeing techniques.

Guided 3 Lakes with Kayaks

• Guests take shuttle to bottom of gondola and take scenic ride to mountain top. Hike begins there – a gentle intermediate walk which is 200 ft elevation gain.

• At the top they receive instruction on Kayaking safety.

• Excursion on lake lasts about 90 minutes.

Guided 3 Lakes with Kayaks

• Guests return to Gondola and ride back down.

• Excursion followed by a sumptuous luncheon in the Biergarten.

Archery & Fishing

• Native Americans and early town settlers have long favored fishing at the Quarry and hunting with bow and arrow on Hamburg Mountain. Guests participate in a catch and release program and connect with a part of history.
