Crystal Springs: A Difference in the Family TreeChapter 1C

Hi again

We last left off with April returning to her garden, Jason having a job in the Oceanography career, and their firstborn son, Seth, who aged to toddlerhood.

Oh and Maple continuing to impale the roof, the walls were a bit last season for her.

Here is little Seth crying till his lower teeth came out. Poor thing.

April soon came to give him a bath, since she arrived too late to potty train him.

Around that same time, Jason had to wake up early than expected for his 1st day of work.

He does not look pleased.

Jason- “No comment.”

I did make Jason help April with the garden before he left for work though.

Nice to know their passion for one another is still intact despite tending the garden, feeding Maple, looking after Seth and the odd hours of Jason’s job.

Without realizing it before, I saw April had the “Talk to” option with the plants meaning…

April finally got her gold gardening badge !

Yet, it still doesn’t make it easier due to the continuous infestation of insects.

And I really preferred it to be without a greenhouse, though it would ease things up a lot.

Jason returned from work, to be promoted to Dolphin Tank Cleaner !

Jason- *shruds* “I thought it couldn’t get any worse but it did.”

Get over it.

Jason proceeded to help April again, only to earn his bronze gardening badge.

For once the Ivan’s got a call that wasn’t from Danielle and without April twisting up her face.

In fact, the call was from the Gypsy.

April’s semi-stalker.

And just out of the blue, April became a plantsim !

Honestly, this made things very easy from their currently hectic life, but I do prefer her as she was.

If only she kept her hair and she had she normal skintonebut with the vines, I would have no problem.

Jason’s cool with his wife being a plantsim though.

He just doesn’t want to become one, as you can see in his fear’s panel.

Apparently April’s digging *ahem*… I mean looking after Maple and her den finally paid off – she ended up getting $5000 !

The family can live relatively comfortable for now without having to scrap for any source of income.

After fulfilling her want to potty train Seth, April rolled a want to spawn a plantbaby.

Jason came back from work and got promoted to Sea Lice Research Assistant !

Jason - *scratches head*

Not that kind of lice, Jason.

Jason- “I know, but just the sound of it makes you want to scratch your head doesn’t it?”

*scratches head* You’ve kind of got a point there.

Seth grew up and slightly glitched on top of that.

Seth seems to be happy about it.

Not more than me kid, not more than me.

Though I missed it, April jumped in surprise of seeing her kid a few feet taller. Haha.

But despite that he’s been potty trained, Seth still has bladder problems, even in his childhood.

Like I said, there’s always an infestation of insects in the garden. When one problem ends, another crops up. *sigh*

On the first go, Seth caught a largemouth bass. Better than your old man. I’m impressed.

Thing is , he actually likes doing these things. Fishing , gardening and nature related stuff are always on his want’s panel.

At least he’s an achiever.

I furnished the rest of the house. It looks a bit bare, but it will soon add up with time.

Seth earned $200 at school playing in a band.

As a mini reward for the family (mostly for April and myself), I finally made April spawn a plantbaby…

And it’s a boy.

Meet Aven Ivan. I realized after I said his name, that it was too similar. Oh well, here are his stats.

Jason again came from work to be promoted to Dive Master !

Didn’t I tell you it would get better ?

Jason- “Meh.”

Jason was more focused on welcoming the newest member of the family.

Such a doting father.

Here is just a picture to show that Maple is still alive and doing her thing, even while she sleeps.

Seth introduces himself to his little brother, and teaches him the nursery rhyme their mother taught him.

Meanwhile, April maxed the nature hobby while taking care of the last batch of plants !

And here, April gets her Nature plaque.

April sat down spent some time with Aven . Such a cute interaction.

Jason and Seth decided to bond over fishing. Also, trying to see if they can catch anything other than a largemouth bass.

Seth went to help his mother after Jason left for work and getting a bronze fishing badge, which resulted in him earning his bronze gardening badge also.

Jason got promoted to Underwater Demolitionist.

Jason- “….”

….

Jason- ”Yay me ?”

Jason wasn’t so pleased however, when he found out he needed to skill more in order to get the next promotion.
