Opportunities to Serve and Get Involved
Join the Knights of Columbus on an offshore fishing trip.
October 15th from 1:00 p.m.—6:00 p.m. (Must arrive by 12:30 p.m.)
Leaving from Hubbard’s Marina at John’s Pass in Pinellas County.
Trip cost is $45. Parking is $5.00 per car. Can carpool to save on parking fee.

This month our presenter is Kaitlin Gendron (formerly Berger), the Director of Youth Minstry at St. Raphael parish in St. Pete. She is a graduate of the Echo progam through Notre Dame and helps with various ministries throughout the Diocese. Her talk will center on surrendering your life to the Holy Spirit and being open to recieving the gifts of the Spirit. We ask peititions of God the Father, we connect with Jesus through the Eucharist but sometimes the Holy Spirit can fall by the wayside in our daily lives. Please join us for this awesome night!

It’s getting closer. Your parish needs you to help make this year’s Fall Festival the best ever. If we each pull together and each do a little bit, it will be the biggest, best and most successful festival.
Here is a handy checklist of what we need each parishioner to do to help our Church. If you can help with any of these tasks it will contribute to an extraordinary event.

____ Sign up to Volunteer to work the festival. Please help, and sign up for a least one shift.
_____ Donate items for the Raffle Baskets, see back page for more information.
_____Buy a raffle ticket for the Split the Jackpot raffle.

Most of us take this all for granted. Did you ever notice that people with the least amount of possessions are usually the most grateful? Shouldn’t this be the other way around? Take time every
day and thank God for all He has given you.

Our Most Holy Redeemer parish is once again participating in the 40 days for life campaign, which began Sep. 28th until Nov. 6th During these 40 days for life there will be peaceful prayer vigils outside the abortion clinic located at 2010 East Fletcher Ave Tampa, FL 33612. Our parish has been assigned 3 days. We need help from our community to fill all spaces within these 3 days of prayer. The remaining days are: Oct. 5th and Oct. 19th
from 8am to 5pm, we need at least 2 volunteers per hour. Please consider donating a little of your time to this important campaign.

Nuestra parroquia ha sido asignada 3 días. Necesitamos la ayuda de nuestra comunidad para poder llenar todos los espacios en los 3 días de oración. Los días son; Sep. 30, oct. 5 y 19 desde las 8am hasta las 5pm, necesitamos tener por lo menos 2 voluntarios por cada hora. The Fall Festival needs your help!
Donations of canned soda and individual candy bars are needed.
All parishioners are asked to donate items for our three themed Raffle Baskets. Any items that fit the theme of Family, Wine & Cheese or Lotto are appreciated. Donation ideas are gift certificates to Busch Gardens, the movie theaters, or family restaurants. Board games, family themed DVDs, wine glasses, bottles of wine, cheese blocks, wine accessories. Stores such as TJ Maxx, Marshalls & Ross are excellent places to find these types of items.
Also, please purchase a Lotto scratch-off ticket and drop it in the offertory basket or at the front office.
Your donations may be dropped off at the office during business hours. If you cannot purchase these items cash donations are always appreciated! We can do the shopping for you!

El Festival de otoño necesita tu ayuda! Se necesitan donaciones de refrescos enlatados y dulces individuales. A todos los feligreses se les piden donar artículos para nuestros tres cestas temáticas de rifa. Se aprecian los elementos que forma el tema de la familia, vino y queso o Lotto. Ideas de donación son certificados de regalo a Busch Gardens, cines o restaurantes familiares. Juegos de mesa, DVDs de tema familiar, copas de vino, botellas de vino, bloques de queso, accesorios de vino. De Tiendas como de TJ Maxx, Marshalls y Ross son excelentes lugares para encontrar estos tipos de artículos. También, por favor compra un billete de lotería de raspadito y colóquelo en la canasta de ofrendas o en la oficina. Sus donaciones se pueden dejar en la oficina durante el horario de oficina. Si usted no puede comprar estos artículos, Puede hacer donaciones en efectivo siempre se agradece! Y nosotros podemos hacer las compras por usted!
