Quiz/Quiz Trade◦ Students will memorize the definition to their

word on the index card. When the music plays, the students will walk around and find a partner when it stops. After instructions for which partner goes first (someone with the most pets), students will take turn quizzing each other on the word. Students will then switch cards, memorizing the new answer.

out or draw one of their terms for the class to guess.

one fact learned from this section on the flip chart, and then return to the back of the line.

The group will be timed. When the time is called, everyone will go back to their seats and the lists will be read to determine the winning team.

Each “president” will begin by explaining what his administration did to promote progressive goals related to the debate topic.

Presidents will then pose and respond to questions as they debate who deserves the most credit for promoting progressive goals related to the topic.
