1 Demolition 1.1 Preliminary
Refer to the Preliminary and General Clauses of this Specification and to the General Conditions of
Contract, which are equally binding on all Trades. This Section of the Specification shall be read in
conjunction with all other Sections as the requirements are interrelated.
1.2 Scope
This Section is for the demolition of the buildings on the site, including foundations and the removal
and disposal of all demolished material and disturbed ground. It includes the provision of all
precautionary safety measures, screens, scaffoldings, hoarding, covered walkways and the like for
carrying out the demolition work.
