Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time July 18, 2021

From the Pastor

Dcn. Abel CortesDcn. Larry Lucido

Dcn. Bob MarrinanDcn. Peter Raad

My Dear Parishioners,

Jesus, Our Good Shepherd, calls us to come to Him so that we may find rest for our souls. During this mid-summer time, we read in this Sunday’s Gospel the invitation to come to Our Lord so that we may find the rest we need. To take time to pray and to listen to Jesus Christ is especially helpful for us to put things in perspective. From that perspective, we may begin to see opportunities for compassion, mercy, and encouragement. Thank you for living your faith andencouraging others.

In Christ,Fr. Guadagnoli

We want to thank Fr. Paul Weinberger for his ministry while in residence here at St. Monica. As he will no longer be in residence here, we wish him well as he continues his priestly ministry in the diocese.

Finally, please pray for Fr. Mark Garrett in his extra appointment as Chaplain of Bishop Lynch High School. Thankfully, Fr. Mark will continue as Parochial Vicar at St. Monica Catholic Church.
