BANDUNG

Gedung Sate was founded on July 27, 1920, this building originally was built as a center of government at the time in which the Dutch government set the city of Bandung as the capital of country towns in Indonesia. Bandung Selection is based on the consideration of suitable climate for the city of Bandung is so cool plus the beautiful natural scenery.That said, the current climate of Bandung as comfortable as the South of France in the summer. 

HISTORY OF GEDUNG SATE With the establishment of central government, then built Gedung

Sate or Gouvernements Bedrijven was called in those days, by planning carefully created by a team headed by retired Col. VL Slors, consisting of, among others, Ir. J. Berger, a young architect famous graduates of the Faculty of Engineering Nederland Delft, Ir. Eh. In G. De Roo and Hendriks and parties "Gemeete van Bandung".

THE HISTORY OF GEDUNG SATESate Building involving about 2000 workers, 150 of them

were sculptors or expert bongpay tombstone carver and wood carver of Chinese nationality who came from Konghu or Cantonese. The rest are masons, coolies stirring, and the server which is a construction worker with experience working on Gedong shingle (Kampus ITB) and flat Gedong (City Hall). They are the occupation of the village Sekeloa, small hole, Dago, Gandok, and Cibarengkok. 

Over the past four years, in early 1924 successfully completed PTT Head Office and then proceed with the construction of the main building GB parent who completed work in September 1924, including building the library.
