New Parents Evening

It was good to see so many families attend our New Parents Evening. Thank you very much to the Prefects who helped escort parents around the school. This was the hand out given to parents for your information.

Our aim is to develop and build upon the confidence, tolerance and motivation of all students.

We want them to leave our school as honest,

adaptable and reflective young adults, ready to face the demands of the 21st century.

Year 13 Camp Report

This years Year 13 camp at Ohope was a huge success. Students enjoyed new experiences through surfing workshops, careers advice, team building, cultural workshops and they got to grips with running a kitchen feeding 75 people 3 times a day. New relationships and friendships were formed. Much fun was had in the evenings with various concerts and all concerned were overwhelming impressed with the talent we had on camp. Year 13 camp is a valuable time for both students and staff alike to gain precious memories that will be treasured for years to come. Thank you to the amazing team of staff members who came along: Annie Scott, Paula Short, Sandy Anaru, Martin Godfrey, Liz Helu and Sheila Stevenson (our trusty reliever). And a massive thank you to all the year 13 students who made this camp such a success! A big thank you also to Year 13 Dean, Ms Howard, for her excellent organisation which ensured the success of the camp!
