Scholarships, bursaries, grants and awards handbook2
Purpose
This handbook provides information about scholarships, bursaries, grants and awards available to students entering into their first year of post-secondary education. Most of the awards listed are targeted towards Northern students, although we have also included some major Canadian awards as well.
Students should also explore other websites, such as those listed below, for thousands of scholarships to apply for in Canada:
www.scholarshipscanada.com www.schoolfinder.com www.alis.alberta.ca www.canlearn.ca www.studentawards.comwww.sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1351185180120/1351685455328 www.ammsa.com/community-access/scholarships www.aadnc.gc.ca/bursaries www.grantscanada.org
Many universities and colleges have databases of scholarships available to their students, so make sure you check out the website of the school you are planning on attending to see what else you may be eligible for.
Many scholarships, bursaries, and awards go unawarded every year because no one applies for them. Put in the time and effort. It will pay off!
We would like to thank the South Slave Divisional Education Council for providingvaluable content and assistance in compiling the information contained in this handbook.
Please note that the information in this handbook is current as of May 2020, but may be subject to change. Refer to the contact information for each organization/company for the most up-to-date information.

www.scholarshipscanada.com (anglais)www.schoolfinder.com (anglais)www.alis.alberta.ca (anglais)www.canada.ca/fr/services/prestations/education.html www.studentawards.com (anglais)https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/fra/1351185180120/1351685455328 www.ammsa.com/community-access/scholarships (anglais)https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/fra/1351687337141/1531406419657www.grantscanada.org (anglais)
