Technology

Tim and Tim 4G TechnologySiemens has proven in over 9,000 installations that MRI exams with Tim are up to 30%* faster than without it. Tim allows for faster acquisition of images and the exam workflow is simplified because there is no re-positioning of patients or coils needed. So you can either complete more exams in a given time frame, or treat the same amount of patients in shorter time with subsequently less costs.

Now with Tim 4G, our most sophisticated generation of RF and coil technology, Siemens has the highest coil element density in the market. This leads to up to 44%* more SNR per exam when compared to previous-generation coil technologies. SNR is important because it is the currency of an MRI exam; it can be used to purchase either scan speed or image quality. That means up to 40%* shorter scans at the same quality, higher quality in the same time or some combination of both.

Dot (Day optimizing throughput) Dot is the leading technology to reduce the complexity of MRI exams. It enables you to consistently provide high quality results, independent of the experience level of the technologist who performs the exam.
