Akyapak manufactures 4 rolls hydraulic plate bending machines with capacity in thickness from 14 ga. to 8” and in width from 20” to 40ft.
Frames of our machines are made of welded steel (St-52). Roll shafts and bearings are of high quality and robust in terms of bending moment.The upper and lower rolls are independently driven by hydraulic motor and planetary gearbox on 4 Rolls Plate Bending Machines. Side rolls are idler.

Frames of our machines are made of welded steel (St-52). Roll shafts and bearings are of high quality and robust in terms of bending momentum. AHS models are manufacturing with NC and CNC options.
Since the swing guides are designed according to the lever arm pirinciple, the machine provides more power to bend the material, pre-bending becomes perfect and flat ends decrease to minimum level.
Drop end opens and then top roll tilts up sequentially to remove the finished part easily.

AHV Variable Geometry Hydrualic Plate Bending Machine
AHV combines power and production flexibility thanks to its variable geometry design. The three rolls on AHV models move independently. The required geometric positions for a wide range of workpieces is ensured thanks to vertical movement of the top roll and independent horizontal movements of the side rolls.
The more accurate rolling can be performed for remaining less flat ends by positioning rolls asymmetrical, while the rolls can be positioned symmetrical for rolling at maximum thickness. With those fundamental features, AHV provides the power of versatility in production.

Akyapak manufactures 3 rolls hydraulic plate bending machines with capacity in thickness from 14 ga.to 8” and in width from 2 ft. to 40 ft.
Frames of our machines are made of welded steel (St-52). Roll shafts and bearings are of high quality and robust in terms of bending momentum.
All 3 rolls are independently driven by hydraulic motors and gearboxes on 3 rolls plate bending machines whose top roll diameter is 9” or larger. As for the machines whose top roll diameter is smaller than 9”, the rolls are driven by a hydraulic motor, gearbox and gear system.

AKYAPAK APSM machine is designed as standard to fix sheet metal thicknesses from 11 ga. to 2-3/8 in and widths from 2 ft to 10 ft.
According to customer needs, it can be manufactured with 5, 7, or 9 rolls. Number of rolls is not related to capacity, but to the duration of the fixing process. In 9 roll machines, the sheet is straightened in one time, in 7 roll machine in 3-4 times, and in 5 roll machine in 5-6 times.
With the welded ST-52 steel construction frame, the diameters and materials of the correction rolls, the longevity of the used bearings and the high correction pressure forces, AKYAPAK APSM machines are ready to serve their users for many years.
As with all machines manufactured by AKYAPAK, APSM machines are undergoing a very rigorous manufacturing process. These machines, which have been manufactured after being designed by experienced and expert teams in three dimensions, and tested for durability in analysis programs, have passed many dimensional and functional tests.

Akyapak Profile Bending Machines are 3 rolls driven.
This feature allows to have a possibility to make the high capacity bending processes real. Secondly, our 3 Rolls Driven machine minimizes the slipping of the materials during the bending process. The two bottom rolls are hydraulically driven and they can move independently with each other.
Therefore, in comparison with the machines which are top roll drive, the features of our machines enhance the ability of operators and give the opportunity to make pre-bending process on both edges. Side supporters can move towards three directions to reduce the deformations and to facilitate bending processes, especially with angles and spirals.

AK- 400 System stands on PLC and works with a software on industrial PC. In bending various radiused materials, the arcs and lengths on the material are defined, and system’s positioning for axises can be obtained. These positions help to obtain the approximate shape which are desired. Afterwards, the last arrangements can be done on the program and continue to bending.
Also the system uses learning method like the NC systems. The operator can make any changes on a previously saved program. It can be applied to main and the other axises an AHS and APK series. Auxiliary axises positions must be manually entered.
Akyapak uses high quality and advanced technological equipment for Graphical Control Systems to facilitate customer works and increase their productivity.

PLAYBACK PROGRAMMING
If the operator wants to use the program again by repeating, first process should be done manually and saved. While that process is going on, the system learn the process and saves. The next processes can be made automatically via using the previously saved program.
MANUALLY- STEP BY STEP PROGRAMMING
In this method, 3 main axis coordinate values should be entered manually. During the bending, the system moves to these positions but this requires high level experience in comparision with the other method. The user can make changes on any program which is previously saved.

CONTROL SYSTEM
The System is a NC unit developed by AKYAPAK Machinery. It can be programmed with two various methods. Works on PLC and with an interface software on PC. It can be applied on both AHS and APK series main and secondary axises (totally 6 axises). Cone values are available to reach on PC screen, without any reflection to automatic operations. 9 axises are available -for both main and other axises- on APK series if requested.

Beams can be drilled without driving them throughout the beams’ length of 20”. For instance; if the holes’ diameters are 3/8” and the distances between each holes are 1,57”, the spindle is able to drill 12 holes without moving the beam and that means you may save plenty of time within the operation.
And that means very big time saving. Also there is one more advantage of 3ADM system which makes you eligible to make scribing marking on 3 surfaces (Optional). 3-axis marking is also available as an option.
Firstly, material to drill (profile, box profile, angle) is placed on infeed conveyor. The workpiece, being held with handle claw of driving unit, is driven into the drilling machine and the position of the piece is set to zero by laser light.
Drilled workpiece is driven to the angled bandsaw (optional) with handle claw of driving unit. Sawing can be performed in desired lenght and angle (-45/+60”). Sawed rolls of material are driven to the output conveyor.
Through 3 independent servo spindle units on 3 ADM model, the profile can be drilled from 3 sides at the same time. There are four tool capacity automatic tool changing system station for each spindle.

All 2ADM systems are the same as 3ADM; except for the additional z axes to x and y axes on 3ADM. On 2ADM, the beam is driven and brought to the next drilling position after single line drilling. However, on 3ADM model, beams can be drilled without driving them throughout the beams’ length of 20”.
Marking unit, rotary and axial progress movements are done by servo motor. Only blocking clamp jaw and blocking clamp jaw table’s movements are hydraulic.
It can be marking at the field 2,38x6”. Height of letter = 1/2”
There is not any necessity move the profile during marking. Because marking head carries out the rotary and the axial progress. Marking head press power is determined with the hydraulic cutting adjustment.
Marking unit is included in ATC as a regular set. It rotates 18.000 rpm at 87 psi air pressure and performs marking with carbide insert on the tip. It is possible to adjust the marking depth to any desired depth and the adjusted depth is guaranteed with marking unit which features +/- 0,3” offset.

For APP 80 model, plate positioning with standard programming is limited to 40”x20” sized and 220 lbs weight part. Manually punching is possible for 40”x20” sized or 550 lbs weight plate where the punching area is suitable.

The model is able to perform cutting and light milling on plate by moving the bridge in a minimum field when the material is fixed. The bridge moves on GANTRY while the machine table is fixed, and the model has a hole drilling center with 30 HP power, and plasma and oxygen cutting unit.
