HOUSTON MARRIOTT MARQUIS HOTEL:During my internship at Clark Condon Associates, I was assigned to render the plan for the amenity deck of this project. This rendering required weekly updates after changes were made following meetings with the client , architects and other disciplines involved in this project.

HIGHLAND CROSSING:During my second week of internship at Clark Condon Associates, I had the opportunity to produce a series of concept designs for the entry signage of Highland Crossing subdivision. These images show the selected design. The design was inspired by the historic railroad system of the City of Pearland, TX.

CAMERON INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS:During my internship at Clark Condon Associates, I had the opportunity to be involved in different types of projects. For this project, I was assigned to work on preliminary construction documents, which included tree protection and demolition plans, construction plans, and planting plans. However, my main contribution to this project to render the master plan.

CAMERON: MASTER PLAN

COMPASS ROSE COMMUNITY:In this project, I worked with Merileigh Williamson at Clark Condon Associates. Our task was to produce a set of construction documents for the redevelopment of the perimeter fence of Compass Rose Community. During this project I had the opportunity to work on the concept designs and the renderings for client presentation. The following images show three of the concepts for a thin wall system that we presented to the Home Owners Association

SITE BACKGROUND:

Diversity Plaza is centrally located along the main axis of Texas A&M University campus. It has an area of 1.75 acres and It serves as an important node on campus, in both functional and physiological terms. The Plaza is surrounded by two historic buildings, the Cushing Library and Academic Building. Harrington building and the Biological Sciences building are also located along the boundary of the plaza.

SITE PROBLEMS:

• The site is aesthetically degraded

• Poor pedestrian circulation • Lack of social gathering spaces

GOALS:

One of the goals was to create an inviting, pedestrian-friendly space where students could perform different activities such as eat, play and interact with others.

THE RANCH

SITE BACKGROUND:This project is located in a large block defined primarily by Rock Prairie Rd, Bird Pond Rd, HWY 30 and William Fitch Pkwy. in College Station, TX. The task was to study the landscape characteristics as both mapped and viewed on a site visit, document the analysis of those characteristics, determine which areas are suitable for the assigned land uses and complete a schematic land development plan. The site is about 4578 acres and only 10% of it was designated to develop The Ranch.

THE RANCH:The Ranch is a proposed resort hotel that is about 40 acres. The design was inspired by the local ranching culture. The main goal was to provide a destination area that is modern and rustic at the same time, but also sustainable, nature friendly and appealing to the users by providing access to multiple activities, such as shown on the inspirational images below.

RENDERINGS:

The Shadow of Light and Luz Reflectiva are two still life paintings that I did a couple of years ago. The rest of the images are a series of hand renderings that I produced during my second year of landscape architecture. These rendering represent some of the most important elements that we use to design people places. The purpose of these renderings was to study and analyze the effect of colors, tones and shades.
