The integrated LogiComm system is a comprehensive, easily installed adhesive pattern control. Multiple, remote touch-screens can be positioned virtually anywhere on the parent machine for easy operation. This modular system features a building-block approach. Intial installation of a 4-channel pattern control can be later expanded to as many as 32 channels. The programmable control system allows quick pattern programming and changeovers to accommodate even short production runs on complex applications. Standard Pattern Control Features:  Ability to support multiple, advanced bead types including random length, autospot, stitched, dot and continuous. Multi-zone, multi-point pressure control across full machine speed range. Multiple program memory. Integral gun drivers control all types of Nordson hot melt and liquid adhesive guns. Device naming (guns, triggers, pressure) for application specific identification.  Advanced Features: Blocked photocell warning – occurs if photocell is ON continuously or too long. Over length warning – occurs if the length of the product increases due to jamming or where several cartons stick together. Under length warning – occurs if the product is too short; prevents adhesive from being dispensed on the machine. System I/O – stops parent machine due to warnings from over length, under length or blocked photocell. Trigge r masking – distance over which no trigger is generated (product cut-outs, for example).  Alarm – occurs if guns, triggers or associated cables are disconnected, short circuited or open.  Alternating gun coupling – separate guns can apply adhesive on alternating products in high-speed applications. Logical gun coupling – combines random length beads on one channel with a stitched bead on a second channel to provide random stitching. The integrated LogiComm system is a comprehensive,

easily installed adhesive pattern control. Multiple,

remote touch-screens can be positioned virtually

anywhere on the parent machine for easy operation.

This modular system features a building-block approach.

Intial installation of a 4-channel pattern control can be

later expanded to as many as 32 channels.

The programmable control system allows quick pattern

programming and changeovers to accommodate even short

production runs on complex applications.

Standard Pattern Control Features:

■ Ability to support multiple, advanced bead types including

random length, autospot, stitched, dot and continuous.

■ Multi-zone, multi-point pressure control across full machine

speed range.

■ Multiple program memory.

■ Integral gun drivers control all types of Nordson hot melt and

liquid adhesive guns.

■ Device naming (guns, triggers, pressure) for applicationspecific identification.

 Advanced Features:

■ Blocked photocell warning – occurs if photocell is ON

continuously or too long.

■ Over length warning – occurs if the length of the product

increases due to jamming or where several cartons stick

together.

■ Under length warning – occurs if the product is too short;

prevents adhesive from being dispensed on the machine.

■ System I/O – stops parent machine due to warnings from over

length, under length or blocked photocell.

■ Trigger masking – distance over which no trigger is generated

(product cut-outs, for example).

■ Alarm – occurs if guns, triggers or associated cables are

disconnected, short circuited or open.

■ Alternating gun coupling – separate guns can apply adhesive

on alternating products in high-speed applications.

■ Logical gun coupling – combines random length beads on one

channel with a stitched bead on a second channel to provide

random stitching.
