About Ampthill: An attractive Georgian Market town located in Central Bedfordshire, equidistant between Bedford and Luton. Ampthill has a rich history. The weekly market, still held to this day, began in 1242, when King Henry III confirmed the right to hold a market on Thursdays.

Bypassed by the A507 which provides a direct link to the M1 motorway. The neighboring town of Flitwick provides direct rail links to London. St Pancras International can be reached in as little as 40 minutes & Luton Airport Parkway in 20 minutes. According to the Office for National Statistics Ampthill’s growing population stood at 6,767 in 2011.
