As an Association, You Receive 40% of The Travel Commissions! Group travel often has the highestcommission rates in the travel industry and can generate substantial funding for your organization.

We can also work with you to helppromote the event!

Financial Analysis Of YTB Group CruiseIn addition to receiving 40% of thetravel commissions as royalties, there are other unique ways to enhance fundraising that are specific to a group cruise. The example below is using Carnival® Cruise lines’ Cruising for Charity Program.

Donation ProgramWith bookings of 8 staterooms (16 guests or more), Carnival will donate $5 per guest each day towards your group’s fundraising efforts. (3 day cruise, $15 per guest; 4 day cruise, $20 per guest; 7 day cruise, $35 per guest, etc.) For example, the cost of a 3 day cruise is $399 per guest. Your nonprofit organization marks up the cost of the cruise by $15 or more (this is your participant’s donation). You promote the cruise to your group at a cost of $414. Carnival will donate up

to $15 per guest on a 3 day cruise for a combined $30 contribution ($15 from the markup and $15 from Carnival’sdonation.) That’s $30 per guest, or $60per cabin, that your group raises!

Raise Even More Money by Earning Free Staterooms In addition to the donation, you can earn one free stateroom for every 15 staterooms sold. Booking 45 staterooms would earn three free staterooms. The dollar value of these staterooms is based on the average value of all staterooms sold to your group (excluding miscellaneous charges). These free staterooms may be returned to Carnival and this dollar amount can be contributed back to your organization.

Using an 8 day cruise as an example, with an average value of $760 per guest, based on double occupancy, you may earn an additional $4,560 ($760 per person x 3 staterooms = $4,560)! Or, you can keep the staterooms and raise additional funds through raffle ticket sales of “Fun Ship” cruises with these free staterooms being used by the winners.

Group travel must conform to

YTB Group Travel Guidelines.
