Jose and Carmen first came tothe Relief Bus nearly 20 yearsago. Jose was an addict andCarmen had suffered a bad

stroke. But they kept coming. They were living together, andafter a while of coming to thebus, being exposed to God’sloving power, they decided toget married and “get right withGod”

 Anne Jonesand I

scraped upenoughmoney for

their license,and get

married they did. They kept coming andeventually we helped Jose getoff drugs, and today he is drugfree for 10 years, by the graceof God. Carmen still suffers theeffects of the stroke, but stillenjoys coming to the bus often, still raving about the soup, rolls, and hoe God transformed theirlives nearly 20 years ago.

Ebony &DevonI first met Ebony

about a year ago inthe South Bronx. A pretty girl, kind ofout out of place inthe nitty gritty ofthe area. (see picbelow).

As I talked withher, I realized she hadproblems, includingbeing cut by gangmembers, and having housingtroubles. Her one year old son waswith her. I thought she couldarticulate very well not only herplight, but the plight of many of hercommunity members... so I askedher if I could shoot a shortvideo of her, (see myFacebook Page).

I had not seenher since, until lastweek, We had a

team from Calvary Assembly of God inPennsauken, NJ withus, and a young ladynamed Devon was on the team. She wept the entire way into thecity, and I told her to get ready fora breakthrough, not knowing what

was going to happen. Ebony

came at about noon, and I askeddevon to come in and help ministerto Ebony.

Well... let me tell you, it endedwith Devon praying for Ebony, thefirst time she ever prayed forsomeone out loud in her life. The

Holy Spirit fell and Ebony and Devon were both set free ofthings only God really knows. These kinds of miracles arewhat we are after - not only in

the people in the streets, butin the volunteers as well. Hecame to set us ALL FREE!!

Come and volunteer andexperience God for yourself in apowerful way!
