Direct Importers.The Rock Lick Block

Is a discovery, the result of thirty years' practical experience In the doctoring ofSTOCK for worms and parasitic diseases. It is UNANIMOUSLY declared bySTOCK OWNERS who have used It to be the most Important vererlnary discoveryever brought under their notice.

In cases of WORMS, BOTTS, pleura, TUBERCULOSIS, Texas fever, milk andother fevers, Its value as a preventive Is incalculable; as a cure Immeasurable.Actlns as it does both as a tonic and restorative, animals accustomed to use theRock Lick Block are rendered sufficiently strong constitutionally to resist parasitesand worms of all kinds. Millions of Stock die annullv (sheep lit particular) fromwasting, dropsical, or bottled diseases, notwithstanding that they are drenchedrepeatedly, as well as receiving a continuous supply of salt and Iron.

Horses suffer from botts and worms, and require to have them removed, as wellas having a tonic.

Dulry Cows suffer from fever, sunstroke, tuberculosis, pleura, inflammation ofthe feet, Inflamed udders, etc., etc.

The ue of the Rock Lick Block entirely supersedes the primitive and expen-sive system of drenching. All animals fake it readily.

To the Dolrymnn it Is of very great Importance; To the Sheep FnrnicrIt is an Imperative requisite. No horse or cattle owner can afford to be without It.No parasite can continue In the body of animals that get it.

Rock Lick Block, besides being a great herbal medicine tonic, a sure wormand parasite destroyer, a blood purifier, builds up and strengthens the constitution ina remarkable manrer, at the cost of Sulphale ol Iron and Salt. Our directions aregiven to economise; It leaves no injurious effects If taken continuously; and It con-tains no poison,

Sheep should get this Lick as a preventive.Dairy Cows. As a preventive to pleura, tuberculosis, Inflamatlon of the

feet, stomach sickness, Impaction of the stomach, etc, it has no cjjual. Keep a cou-ple of boxes In your milking yard.

In attacks of all diseases allow the Llcjc contlruously until the diseaseis overcome.

Horses. Stock and all grass fed horses should get It monthly. Young horsesare especially subject to worms, botts, and other ailments which this Lick Is aspecific for. In tropical climates the horse is subject to parasitical diseases whichcause great weakness, debility, paralysis, and death. This Lick Is a remedy. All outbreaks of strangles, pinkeye, Influenza, malignant sare throat, are modified bythe use of the Lick.

ART LEAGUE HOME OPENED

For tho inauguration of thonow home of tho Kilohana ArtLeague in tho Model block, thomusical circle of the organizationarranged a very attractivo muei-cal- e.

It was given Thursday night.Tho hall was filled to the doorswith members and their invitedfriends. Decorations woro limitcd to an odd plant and a bou-quet upon aud about tho piano.

It would bo hard to say whethertho performances were bost at thebeginning, end or middle. Theyworo all of a very high class. Thonponing trio by Mrs. H. M. Mott-Srai- th

on tho piano-fort- e, Mrs. O.B. Cooper on tho violin and Mr.H. M. Mott-Smit- b on tho violon-cello would, in any ordinary con-cert havo been liable to sate thoauditors to a degroe that wouldranko a hard row to hoe for allsucceeding contributors.

A large class of small Ohinesogirls, directed by Mrs. Tuckor, sang, "Blow balmy breath ofSpring," by Mendelssohn in beau-tiful unison and with musicalvoices. The parts were distinctand (lie harmony perfect.

Miss Maud Kinney, a girl inher teens, cave a violin solo inoach part of the program. Showas accompanied on tho piano byher mother, and bandlod tho bowwith admirablo effect.

Mr. J. P. Williams, wearing thestripes of a sergeant in the U. S.forces, also appeared in bothparts. In threo selections he re-vealed a fine tenor voice used withgood expression. Mrs. Kinueywas his accompanist and, at lastappearance, Mibb Luoy Ward de-lightfully rendorod a violin obli-gate

Mr. Mott-Smit- besides hispart in tho opening number, wasdown for solos in two succeedingones. In the first one ho playedan allegro molto, an andante andan allegro vivace, which exhibitedthe rich variations of oxprosBionof which the violoncello is capablein masterly hands.

Miss Carrie Castle was rocoivedwith an ovation as sho came for-ward to opon tho second part witha piano solo. It was her first ap-pearance in public since her re-turn homo from a prolonged ab-sence abroad. Tho audience wasa reserved one in temperament.but it gavo a hearty onoore to Misscastle. It was easily recogniza-ble that she had not lost any ofher musical talent while abroad.

Mrs. O. B. Coopor was warmlyapplauded as she went to theplatform, and justified tho mostengor anticipations by her singingof an ariosso from "La Mort deJeanne d'Arc." Mr. Tarn Mo-Gre- w

played tho acoompanimont. The hall was found to bo a

comfortable, andcommodious placo of assembly.vVith tho platform at tbo side, aspeaker, an actor or a singer doesnot need to oxponod energy inreaching his auditors, whetherthoy are few or many. With en-trance and exit at both ends, widestairways and, if the occasionneed, the elevator besides, therois no squeezing in coming or go-ing.

WILIi OP JULIUS IIOTINO.
