the Gateway to College Academy. Primary duties include: Initiating student contact to ensure student success

formatively and summatively each semester to determine student needs.
2002–2006 Dean of Students, Neal Middle School, Durham, NC As part of the administrative team, responsibilities included: providing support to teachers and acting as the primary advocate and disciplinarian for 750-plus students with behavioral, emotional, and social problems; Doing so regularly included facilitating individual and group sessions for these students; developing and implementing

suspension teachers and paraprofessionals and consulting daily with administrators, teachers, parents, social
